I am not sure why its doing this. Maybe priitk started server with an old backup. Any time you download a new zone list it will update as a wrong ip and will be in red. The quick fix is this: close Continuum. go into continuum directory and open up zone.dat. You will see something like this. Ok dunno how long this is going to last. I had battle up for ppl to play but its all fuxored as far as settings and i dont feel like moving stuff around. I was devving before all this stuff happened and i wasnt prepared to have ppl play it. So SZ Chaos and SZ Alpha is now up. Zones I can put up and walk away from without changing anything. So while all this stuff is going down you at elast have a place to lame. A familiar place anyway. pew pew. PS: If anyone has a copy of tw map and settings that dont require bot i could put that up too. If its not ganna bother anyone.

Im not a 4v4 player so im not sure how much my suggestion will weigh in. How about incorporating a collapsible arena as well. This would require bot mods though, so i don't know if it is possible. Just my 2 cents. Maybe have the map split into 4 parts. Once the count goes down to a specified count, and once all players are in the same quadrant, close off that section.

yes before I move on and customize it more for continuum, I wanted to try and copy the tutorial as close as I could. From here we can add more tuts for more experienced pilots. Ill release source once I got a more stable bot. I appreciate you testing it out pet .

This sub-arena should be considered to be an extension off of pub. I am not going to customize it to league settings. I am not looking to replace 4v4 or even pub for that matter, this arena/bot is just to organize any VS match into one single subarena. The bot can be configured to play anything from a duel to 6v6v6v6. There are also a few more options for gameplay. (redwars, turretwars, shipwars, firsto...) The dev for this bot is pretty much halted until I am able to rewrite it using the newer BattleCore. This thing really got started with me. j00n was on and had been saying some very questionable things to axe. Ill put in my 2 cents. Not trying to take sides or even put you down DI, but this is what happaned when i was logged on. I am unsure if axe ever approached hallu with any of this, as i said before I was the one to FIRST approach hallu about j00n. This is not the case at all. I was tabbed in ss for quite a while doing whatever i was doing, probably code. j00n and axe were playing and going back and forth with chat. j00n made some very vulgar comments about axe and his son. Things that j00n said included: his son's death, sodomy, and some other stuff. That's pretty much all that stuck in my head. he did say alot more =). As far as why I brought it up to hallu ( this is not a reflection on any staff member in chaos: this is my own thoughts on the matter) 99% of any harassment made in public can be solved by ?ignore. seldom do you get someone that goes crazy and starts name changing and pming a player, but it happens. then you have to consider a form of a ban. I mentioned to hallu that j00n's behavior should be considered for a ban on the basis that his chat was so vulgar and just in bad taste (it's saying alot when i say that, because i myself have spewed out all kinds of garbage, but never this personal and never that vulgar). I was surprised at axe and how he took it. he played it cool and just gave his usual brush-offs to j00n. (i don't know how he was after this, i was not online for all of it) So my problem was this: if someone is saying all this stuff in pub, exceedingly out of normal trash-talk range, do we tell axe and everyone to ?ignore j00n, or should we do something else about it. honestly I suggested to hallu that j00n be banned, but the first step is always a silencing =). There were also other issues after that whole ordeal, but I am simply posting info about the time I was on and my feelings about it. Like I said before, I am unsure if axe ever approached hallu, but I am 100% on the fact that I was the one to point out j00n to hallu and suggested he ban/warn him. forgivers my lack of spelling/grammar I r half asleep.

Originally written as Alpha Core by UDP( in 2006 I believe) . UDP gave me the core with source and pretty much gave me all rights to it with the condition that I give the credit for the core to him. I think it is a great core and have used it for many projects(none of which i have finished). I will set up simple tutorials as soon as I get time. Download and use Microsoft Visual Studio.
