We here in Holland can't even buy it seperately. We need to buy it with a TSP contract, which amounts to about 900 euros (incl IPhone) over 2 years. But competing telephones like the HTC Touch Pro costs about the same (+- 500 euros) as in Belgium. I saw on TV tho the IPhone only is 350 euros in Switzerland. And the EEE laptop is a ripoff compared to regular cheap laptops (more power for the same money).

Well, if you're up for it and you still have an old pc at home which still has some good usable parts in, you could just upgrade the old pc. If the casing is fine, the dvd player is still functional and the hdd still goes, by buying boxed cpu, gfx, mobo and memory, you can end up with way better specs. Only problem would you'd have to !@#$%^&*emble it yourself. Maybe you have a friend who can do that for you. Some components added together: CPU: 350$ (quad core q9450) GFX: 180$ (nvidia 8800gt) MoBo: 120$ (asus p5k-e) memory: $ for 4GB power supply: about 50$ hdd: $ for 500GB _____________________ + total: 900$ and way faster than the dell one Or you can get what you get at dell for less money (about 200-300$ i think). But this all kinda depends on your old rig. Don't forget a new OS tho if want to upgrade that as well (and they can be expensive). Point being you can save a lot of money building it yourself and reusing stuff you'd else throw away.

What you could do for prolonging a battle is creating one or two secondary bases with light defence and powerplants. The main base would then have heavy defence, which would (partially) shut down when the secondary base is destoyed. You'd then have the choice between a full out assault on the base with heavy losses, or powering down the defence to make your attack easier. And maybe a light defended but hard to get to (canyon or whatever) bacldoor for some covert sneak attack. Just some suggestions to give the map a better CnC feeling.

Being a student gets me free public transport, but if I were to travel to uni by car instead of pt, it would cost me rougly 60$ a week (its a 30km drive), so we're not that far apart. But it depends on how far you have to travel. And for the record, car >>> pt. It's faster, less crowded and less smelly. If it wasn't for my free pt, I'd be paying as much for pt as for the car (tickets vs gas).

Well, the body starts to move to the left if i make my browser (ff) wider than about 1500px. So I guess there is something that is making the body twice as wide as it should be, but the extra invisible part doesn't create a horizontal scrollbar. Maybe you need to manually set all padding and margins. Or try a content table with 100% width and centered content.

With Dell you can select XP instead of Vista if you want to (at least here in Europe). And I think you get about the same for that price, plus they have like -300 and -500$ coupons from time to time (register for newsletter to get them).

castle defence gets really gay after a while. at one time i had so many archers n stuff i could just let it run. eventually i died but that was because i cbf to repair after every round.

vLite, with this you can delete parts of Vista you don't use anyway. Never used it myself but I heard it's a great program.
