Aileron - GL in OCS. ----------------------- As for the difference between Marines and Army... the PT in the Marines is by far a little more rigorous but if you look at the difference between them doing Pull-ups and a 3-mile run whereas we do the push-up (Did I say 'we?' omg), sit-ups and 2-mile run. By far a lot of Marines actually FAILED the APFT (Army Physical Fitness Test) by a big margin in Airborne School because they aren't used to doing it the 'Army' way....yes even while you are in great shape you may fail just because we in the Army have a difference in physical standards. Now as to TRAINING in the Army, and the benefits the Army has. They are pretty good, yes there are bent rules and regulations... but hey, I got more training under MY belt because I have the job to do so. I sit in an office, work all day long and go home after work to see the wife. Training by far is not lacking in the military, it's the abuse of certain commands that infringe on the soldiers that could gain more knowledge if they had the resources and knowledge at there disposal to direct them to find the new bits of information and knowledge. Take for example this. I am a 25B, I have a security clearance and six years of Active Duty under the belt. Three deployments and no I haven't had the chance nor the opportunity for a fourth because they are being stingy with me now. I've gone to certification classes, TDY (Temporary Duty) to learn new equipment and be paid additionally just for leaving my post to go there and get the knowledge and the benefit of knowing new equipment so I am a highly adaptable person in each unit I go to. Along with that training, I have the knowledge and foresight to instruct others while maintaining my own area of expertise to keep me as a highly viable !@#$%^&*et in the organization I am a part of. Not only that, I have other resources at my disposal to help out others when they can't find the right answers or get the proper equipment working for the network they are !@#$%^&*ociated with. Benefits are getting better in the Army, as a matter of fact they passed a VA Bill for Post 9/11 Veterans. So when you get out you have full benefits for college plus more. Now with everything I said, it's up to your perspective to see and/or understand what it is to be in the Army. I get up at 4:15 am every morning, get ready for work, drive to work at 5:30 - on post at 6am and ready for PT by 6:30am. I get showered/changed and go to work at 9am and do my job !@#$%^&*ignments for the day then go home whenever that is. It's repe!@#$%^&*ive but the people you meet you never forget, some are cool, some are !@#$%^&*es... it's the military with everyone coming in from different walks of life but the truth of the matter is every brother and sister you meet are there to work with you and help you out just the same (Marines are just as similar and I've been Jointly !@#$%^&*igned with some in Japan) in case you thought I was making a difference between both Branches of the Armed Forces. Needless to say, I am going to be getting out I do not plan on being a 20 year person but from every bit of information I got or sought out I've done far better for my wife and I than I thought could ever come around. So with that I salute those that decide the military life is for them regardless of the times and troubles you may go through, there is always a reason to stick it out and get over it. And I'll finish this off by saying I do not use the !@#$%^&* word 'Hooah' it is not in my vocabulary.

As the owner I have the right to open and make a post in something I totally missed out on. I say let SSCouncil.Com do what they wish, !@#$%^&* I still own it at the moment until I give it over to Wonderer (sorry I havent yet by the way) but by all means let them do what they wish. I care not, only thing anyone should say about the matter is HEY cool, check it out!! It's something new to see. Isntead of all the negative gay-bashing going on. So everyone get off your high horse shut the !@#$%^&* up, pull your e-peen out of your ear and listen for a moment. It's a !@#$%^&*ing game and a web site. Grow Up. People make decisions and things are created big deal. It won't take anything away from anyone elses time, money or space. Let things be. Have a great day!

I'll see what I can do and no this isn't that guy. Although that 'guy' still is asking for names and squads I own back.

No offense to anyone but my domain names are registered with OTHER domain names I actually hold and maintain for other people outside of SubSpace on my 2 registars. I would prefer to keep them with me and what it funny is when people email me telling me to renew them hehe, it's a bad habit of sitting out on the retired community of SubSpace to have Scott call me on my cellphone saying Joe you nub renew the domain. I'm then like oh is it that time of year again? And do it. By the way, for those of you who visit SSCouncil.Com - it should be back up and running... had to renew that domain (oops!) but yea thank Wonderer for sending me the email otherwise I would have ignored it. At least this will give Scott and me more hanging out time.. although I think I'll do a trip up to the penninsula to hang out in his neck of the woods instead.. I'm going nostalgic here on the mainland of WA.

Swift is still around. I just have my own game to play and my own little shoes to fill in the guild I am in while playing WoW. I'm just as easy as ever to get ahold of via email; joemedeiros@gmail.com PoLiX can get ahold of me if he needed to but since I resigned from said jobs, !@#$%^&*les, positions... my life in SS has been a lot better. As to what that means, I think the saying I've always used comes in handy when dealing with SubSpace in general. 'You begin a player, you leave a player.' Which is so true for a Free 2 Play Online Game. You're all players with 'limited' scopes of power within your zone or server... but when you decide to give those up to move on or to just PLAY for a change... not deal with whispers or people... no politics in-game... you are forever more the player again. Which is why it should be seen as something of a 'think of the player as a player' when dealing with issues in-game. Sound advice for any wanna-be zone owner, banning administrator or server administrator. Think of others before yourself! - Joe Medeiros

More American military veterans have been committing suicide

Been in the military over five years now and I must say that I'm a crazy s.o.b. Scott will attest to that. -
Updated the DNS today after I had a chance to sit down here in South Korea to do it.

You gave them to me you hoe. Although I think one of them is still your fax number because I got a !@#$%^&* load of sound in my ear.

Found my old cellphone and I tried to turn it on. Well it sure enough had a battery life to it, so I checked to see whose numbers were still in it (mind you this phone is something back in '05) so I'm like eh, well lets find out. Saw a lot of old numbers in there... Polix SyrusMX Testtube's My old NCOIC's number other SSer's numbers and family numbers that hadn't changed. It's pretty interesting what you find in a bag you haven't decided to look at in over six months. -Joe

Let's just remind some people. Hoch is a lawyer. -
Here are my observations as well L0SA. My wife and I are months apart in age, yet I've dated women who were my senior by a few years and younger by a couple of years. As anything goes with a relationship the mental stability of any young teenager varies as to how they were raised. You can come from any social environment and be considered the things you've previously stated just because they've dated older or younger individuals. It's important for those younger teens to learn from their mistakes though and as you have learned from your observations or 'social' encounters it is obvious you have a serious bias against older/younger couples. As some people have pointed out though, there is a huge gap in communication between older and younger generations, but maturity is something that is flimsy at most, almost intangible because of the nature human beings are. I grew up with some hardships, yet despite some things that would leave others emotionally distraught I learned from them and moved on. It's all on that teenagers initiative to take that step and say am I capable of committing it? If so what are the pro's and con's of what I say, and do? If you can answer those questions then you've shown your maturity. Now acting upon it and having others perceive it the way you want it to will not go hand-in-hand. That's where you mind your P's and Q's and when people see that it can and it does work, things change. I have no issues in this regarding a 17 year old dating a 14 year old. There are to many questions that have variable answers. For all you know she could be 14 turning 15 in a day or two. If so that would seperate their age by two years. Which is by far more acceptable in society than what you have been posting repeatedly. That was but an example as to the difference aside from just stating your observation and bringing down defamatory comments on some of the other members on my forum network. They are expressing their opinions and thoughts just as you are, remember this does go both ways and to have an intellectual conversation both parties need to be impartial regardless of the ire that builds up in your heart. Take heart to these words because they are wisdom. Something I rarely impart when I post. Cheers, J Medeiros (Swift)
