  1. I completely Agree with TM. NRG was THEE best flagging squad (not being bias or anything) But yeah, I do remember those times and people DID leave..That could still happened, so Pub freqs would be rather nice Sounds good, basically, the PRIV freqs are only for dog-fights And btw, about that last statement. Even if you had it, it wouldn't make a difference. People that got switch will be like, 'wtf?', and go into spec, making the teams uneven again. Once it evens up, that person will just hop onto their team again. I've seen it done in many zones...but it shouldn't matter because we aren't using it anyways.
  2. Pretty good idea...But you really think it would encourage people to stay? Most people. I find, after a flagging game LEAVE right away if they lost...
  3. WELL PUT. Honestly, I only think one person came to me and said our tileset sucks OPPOSE to like, 35 people telling me they like the look. New map? Definitely, as well as longer bases. I've been working on bases myself sometimes, because I get bored every now and then. Keep the tileset, change the map/bases.
  4. I still stand by my word. Although, it shouldn't be a huge offense...Should NOT deserve a ban. Only a kick or spec or something like that, nothing major, or minor. Something minimal. Agree?
  5. HUH??? It was? 250 per kill? How much per death? ..Most players only get, maybe, 1000 kills before scorereset. 1000x250 = 250, 000 creds Lowest item on the List = 7 MIL. YES. MILLION. Let's say for death, 100. 100x1000 = 100 000 creds. Still won't cut it. You gotta make it more reasonable. It DOES help the flagging creds you receive, but in the end, it won't make a difference. Added together, that's 350 000 creds, ONLY roughly. As of today, THE HIGHEST KILLS IS 455. DEATHS = 250 (bossboy's Rec) 455 x 250 = Aprox 114 000. 250 x (input value here, In this case, 100) = 250 00 That's not much..nor will it make a difference. Going by kill points could be...ridicuolous Just gain a crapload of bounty, and just kill people countless times. Just Use a value..for crying out loud Use something REASONABLE, not too much, nor too little

  8. I'm not entirely sure about this...I honestly think keep the 100% jackpot for the winners, and GRADUALLY raise the losers amount as the jackpot goes up. EX. (doom's) WINNERS 90% at 1 billion 100% at 700 - 999 mil Think about it a little bit..it DOES NOT MAKE SENSE! you lose 100 million right away, once you hit 1 billion, meaning that you get 900..When you could simply win it between 900-999 to get 100%... Looking at this, if games REACH this point, games will end around here...most likely, and this is not what we want. Winners always get 100%. Period. Not sure about the losers yet, so i'll msg later about it
  9. I'm just posting this because people want me to post it...(not to mention any names ) Anywho, you all know deva is flagging based, correct? Also, there is a dog-fight aspect as well... Now, the idea (not mine, people just has asked me to post) is to bring back the SPREE notifications. I.E. I kill 5 people, without dying Kick me!! is on a killing spree! (5:0) I kill 10 people, without dying (of course) Kick me!! is on a rampage! (10:0) and so on. I think it's a great idea, because then people become very determine to kill that person on the spree... and it's just nice to know ALSO: A idea with CREDS linked to this.... For certain points, give credits! At places such as, (10:0), grant the player like, .5 mill creds (something REASONABLE) and for like, (25:0), 2 mill creds. Make it that the person who KILLED the person on the spree, ac!@#$%^&*ulates creds as well (let's say, x2 of the amount that they were on. or x.5 or something..) Just an idea.

  11. The Kickzor has returned. Let's see, I have a problem with tri-warp. If you warp someone inside the base to OUTside, they can instantly attach to someone ...making the warp literally ineffective. I think it should effect safe zones because it'll make the tri-warp has some effect. If you get warped out when in the safe, you can simply attach to another team-mate IF defending. If attacking, obviously, same as above. There should not be any major problems with this. Or tri-warp that it drains your energy completely, so you have to wait or go to the green area to get your energy back up to DELAY. Everything else looks good.
  12. Ohh..Did NOT read this one clearly. The difference in GREENING it and BUYING it is that it takes TIME to green it. BUYING it is an instant. If super is team-greened, obviously, everyone is gonna get it, and there is no doubt it'll be chaotic. Easy solution: Don't make it greenable. If they want super, they will have to buy it instead. Of what Doom was saying, Yes, true, but I further realized that they'll possibly used in flag games, which could me irratating, but still, people would like to get a laugh and memoriable moment in deva (WHICH IS GOOD). If you had, 10 vs. 10 on each time flagging, and some random person cast M!@#$%^&* SHUTDOWN, it'll be pretty funny. No one barely moving, and getting destoryed buy spray bullets, etc etc. It will not affect the game much due to EVERYONE is affected. You also have repels and such. M!@#$%^&* ENERGY LOSS is literally the same as above. Each team is bound to have an anchor, so it shouldn't prove much problems. If someone is greening on your team in the middle, it'll make this one-way, which can be good. But it's for FUN, or a FUNNY moment. M!@#$%^&* WARP is the one, you are probably ALL questioning. This is the one who can RUIN the flag game. When it used in the flag game, it'll be a race to who gets there first. BUT most likely, the game will still continue on, up until the jackpot hits a LARGE amount and the teams want to win. This is where rockets are EXTREMELY effective .
  13. Yes, agreed. That is why I originally said make them EXPENSIVE as !@#$%^&*. Also, REPS. Yes, I am outta my mind lol. But if you enable the ability to buy multiprize, it's almost EVERYTIME will grant full equipment.

  15. I'm posting for ALL those people who are currently complaining about the current buyables. Now, buyables are good, and can highly turn the tables around, but there are SEVERAL pitfalls to them. The current buyables, which I strongly agree with, should be changed completely As most of you know, You know what the buyables are. I'll list them anyways with PITFALLS and ADVANTAGES with each. Now, just a heads up. If you don't like ultra long post, Don't bother reading on. LOL MC = Million creds 1) scorereset (0 MC) ---> Nothing bad about it. 2) super (14 MC) --> Now, this one is EXTREMELY annoying. Nothing is more lame than playing a good ol' flagging game when you have some, random guy who buys super continously and sprays beyond a handful of bullets. This seriously ruins the flagging game. One guy, with super, could EASILY destory the other team in less than 5 seconds, with EASE. How to counter this? Simple - Get rid of it, Raise cost, or make time shorter. 14 mc? Very easy to obtain. 3) Warp (25 MC) --> Now, this one could seriously ruin a game, however, the chances of it are SLIM. The warp idea is a great addition, although I do not see the need for it. If you manage to get the person who is carrying the flags to warp to you, and kill them, The jackpot is literally yours. If this is the case, you minus will put Thors in the game, with low damage. This game is basing right? Meaning: You FLY through the base with security (defenders), and AT the end is your prize (THE FLAGS). 4) Tri-Warp (30 MC) --> Not much to say about this one, other than, it's re!@#$%^&*ed. 5) NoAnti (13 MC) --> Question for you all - Should this be removed? Put your hand up *Puts his hand up* In bigger games, when this is used by the defending team, the person carrying the flags is just gonna warp, run away, CONSTANTLY. Annoying? Yes. Now, probably most of you are thinking, "Well, Most ships have anti, and in bigger games, it'll only knock one anti off; therefore, anti will still be in effect." Yes, agreed, but, if the WHOLE defender team uses it, all anti gone. Now, SOS and/or DOOM is probably gonna say, "We'll make it only that the team can use it once," but the problem here is that someone else has anti, and by the time the timer resets to buy noanti again, the person who got it knocked off, will probably be dead and back with it again. Get rid of this. 6) No-Energy (13 MC) --> My my, What can I say about this...This is probably the most, re!@#$%^&*ed, useless one I have ever seen in my life (No offense SOS. ) Deva = Semi-Super; therefore, it takes a small steam of bullets (most ships) to kill someone. The no energy makes it one bullet of any kind, but your ALSO no-energy'd. If you were planning to use it, and burst to kill people, good idea BUT the burst will most likely kill the person anyways, with or without no energy. Useless because it's yourself and only two other people. 7) Brick (20 MC) --> Finally, something that I requested and NORMAL!!!! The Price is outrageously low. Raise it. Shutdown (11 MC) --> Now, the most ANNOYING of them all - THE ENGINE SHUTDOWN. I get so many complaints about this one (even though I'm not mod or anything) because people believe it was 'my idea.' It kinda was, but this is a single shutdown and picking who you want to shutdown is fairly easy. I definitely think we should scrap it. I'm not gonna list bad things about this one because it'll go on...FOREVER 9) Rocket (6 MC) --> WOOT!!!! Something else normal! This one is 100% Fine. Now, having said that, That'll bring us to like, 3-4 buyables. My and TM's idea -------------------- BURST REPEL DECOY (Not needed...) PORTAL BUYABLE BOUNTY Now, to Expand on it more. Make all the buyables of each, MAX out the amount carried (i.e. 5 burst for Terrier, Shark, etc.) Most of you think this is pretty plain. It is, but the WHOLE point is to buy items that could assist you in the flagging game, not RAPE you in the flagging game. Make bounty something like, 1000 or something. I don't know about prices yet. We can test WHEN the periodic free creds is taken out. Now, Special ideas --------------------- M!@#$%^&* SHUTDOWN M!@#$%^&* ENERGY LOSS M!@#$%^&* WARP M!@#$%^&* as in, ALL, or EVERYONE. Those are suppose to be just for fun, screwing around. Put this a REALLY high amount of creds, so people are actually saving their creds for something cool A Special idea ----------------------------- *arena Message *arena Message (But with, (your squad here) (msg, as in owns, or sucks, whatever lol) Those are for fun as well. I.E. Kick me!!> .buy arenaall I PWNZORRR YOUR !@#$%^&*ES!!!! I PWNZORRR YOUR !@#$%^&*ES!!!! - Kick Me!! (In green, with a %[number]) My fingers are tired. If forgot something, i'll repost.   16. I agree that the losers should get a small % of the jackpot in credits...I think 10% or 15% is good. Let it be treated as a consolation prize. If they are playing for, maybe 2 hours, and they end up losing the jackpot, it'll suck for them. This 'consolation' prize will make up for the lost. For periodic credit giving, GET RID OF IT or at least lower it tremendously. Some people, (such as myself =P) just sit in safe and get prized 20 mil creds for doing completely nothing. Credits shouldn't be completely easily ac!@#$%^&*ulated; it should have some toughness to achieve them.

  18. Just curious of what the people of devastation are thinking about the bases. This may give DOOM and SOS a heads up if they should change the bases or not . IMHO, I think we should change'em... EDIT: oh yes, forgot to mention that if you want lots of bases, DOOM and SOS may have to change the map, so take it into consideration. Although, I like how deva's map is now. Oh, if your a VET as well, state the base that you would like back.

  20. Even if they change aliases ... the alias wont have a high score Coming to think about it, I honestly think you should leave ?scorereset on. The aliases could be rather annoying; seeing a new name for someone who has played before. Usually, you see someone "NEW" comes on, you intend to greet them. When they begin playing, you take it easy, then BAM, you'll probably get owned, not knowing what happened. Then you'll realize who it is. That's not a big problem, but the issue I have with this all together is the constant new names and alias... With XDOOM'S idea of, 'they could make one alias with points, and one alias with reccing', is a BAD idea. You should want the players to stay balanced, where they can get a huge number of points WHILE still having a rec. If you get, let's say, TM (first person come to mind), and he makes two accounts. -TM_master (rec) -TM_Masta (points) Let's say, the (rec) one was a really nice record, let's say, 1000:75, which being the top one Also, the points, let's say, 5 000 000 000, also being the top one. BUT, here's the catch. the (REC) one has the 1000:75, but only 1 000 000 points. the (points) has 5 000 000 000, but a 948:2593 rec. Where's the skill at? If you have Deva rewards (which I HOPE), he just won 2 of them, using different accounts. In my opinion, points has to be the hardest one to achieve. If you get points, most likely, you won't get rec, but in this situation, he just won both with each seperate. This is very, UNFAIR, to the others. If you have someone like, MOJO (another ex.) who has, 1000:250 and 3 000 000 000 points, on ONE account, he's definitely gonna get pissed. Eventually, everyone will start making two accounts, which IMHO, is pointless.

Hmm...A Good Question if you ask me One thing about having scorereset: -Enables you to rec more easily A One thing about having NO scorereset: -People who rec, WILL most likely not participate in flagging games due to the HIGH chance of getting killed, constantly Now, looking at these factors, it should be OBVIOUS that having scorereset is creating a 'dogfight' atmosphere in the zone. Currently right now, with the population, I personally think the zone is a dogfight zone. The times when it does become basing is where the jackpot is high with a decent population, and one team decided to win, but then a basing game begins. I definitely think take away scorereset away, and have it done with the bot, let's say, 10 times in total per reset? It will possibly encourage more reccers to base more often, rather than sitting in spec, watching when they can ACTUALLY take part of it because they don't want to ruin their 'rec'. I'm a reccer myself, and I want scorereset away. Also, when you get a nice rec with a limited number of scoreresets, or if any, it stands out more. But, this will be the opposite of what i was saying. It'll be the same case if you had a nice rec. That's why you kill them and get them to waste all their scoreresets (if any) so they cannot rec.

  25. That's a good idea. It shouldn't be too hard viewing credits. Just put a command like, !creds to view your own, or !creds=(NAME) to view theirs, if you are allowing other people to view each others. Also, you are gonna have to put a command in that GIVES credits for events, such as !Credgive=(NAME):(AMOUNT).
