  1. Damn you, Al Gore. We're all going to die.
  2. Resolution limits have been removed, so you should be good now.
  3. Any publicity of the game would be nice, whether it be temporary or not. Advertisement from Rapidshare would definitely bring a bit of life back into the game, that's a given. The question is how long that boost would last. I don't see why anyone would be against anything that might help the game grow, aside from those people afraid of losing their 'power'.
  4. Thanks to those who donated to help bring back our forum, the MG forums are back and alive. Just thought I'd let those of you know who do visit them from time to time. Those who donated in order to bring back the MG forums are... Night-Wraith Spuds. Agent Smith Thanks again, Slipped
  5. I was using Subchat at the time of the biller crash, then later on I disconnected once I realized the biller was down, hoping it'd be back up. However, at that time, Subchat wouldn't let me reconnect. I ended up just getting on Continuum and I've had a ^ next to my name since then. Strangely enough, this morning I was able to connect via Subchat and I don't have a ^ or anything else. When I had the ^ on Continuum, I kind of had half of my sysop powers. It was odd. I couldn't use any *commands, however I could enter locked arenas, read ?helps, and the lower staff (smods included) were still not able to *kill me (or use other commands on me). I found that fairly interesting. I seem to have all of my powers back at the time being since Subchat let me back on.
  6. Don't even own an Xbox, but I do have a gamertag that I got free... I only play Halo3 from time to time. BaTryLame
  7. I just saw this today and thought it was hilarious. Check it out. It sure doesn't make Obama look all that bright.
  8. Well, he completed summed it up for me as well. I agree 120%.
  9. Well, I would post on the whole evolution-creationism thing, but this isn't a religious debate. That can be saved for another topic at another time. Personally, I'd be happy with either McCain or Huckabee. I voted for McCain in my state's primary, simply because I agree with much of what he stands for, including the fact that he's pro-military. I hate Hillary with a passion and I'd much rather see Obama in the White House over her, even with his lack of experience. Thoughts of a foreign country will be running through my head quite a bit if Hillary ends up winning the election. I could live with Obama, but I really don't want to see him as President either. When it comes down to it, Hillary is a dumb!@#$%^&* and Obama is inexperienced. I also like Huckabee and almost all of what he stands for. I agree with him on just about all of his views on things, so I think he'd make a great President. To be honest, the more and more I read/hear about Huckabee the more I like about him.
  10. Happy Birthday!
  11. moar pics of girl plz datsumjb Is that the same chick you said was your girlfriend back on the MG forums... the one you met in Mexico that worked at your hotel? Oh wait... yeah it is. Is that really the only picture you've got of you with a girl? Too bad you had to pay her to get that picture. If you're going to say someone is your girlfriend, at least get one that you haven't already used before for something else. EDIT: Here's one of your exact quotes from that topic... Here's the topic: http://forums.metalgearctf.net/index.php?showtopic=4299
  12. Fly Southwest. It's fairly cheap and it's a good airline. I always fly with Southwest and I haven't had any problems. I fly into Burbank quite often, works great. (I go to Glendale a lot) I don't like LAX, I try to avoid it. I prefer the Burbank airport.
  13. Perhaps you were drinking heavy while posting this and really meant the Toronto Blue Jays... Blue Jays--Devil Rays. Meh. All the same, right? I found this incredibly hilarious. Someone needs to go back to school, eh?
  14. It was absolutely amazing. I saw it on the 4th and I loved it. I'm sure I'll definitely be watching it again sometime soon.
  15. Maddox says it best: http://www.thebestpageintheuniverse.net/c.cgi?u=macs_cant
  16. Work, spend time with my girlfriend, work, work, sleep, work. Hopefully I'll get some traveling in if I get the time and money. Right now that isn't looking too bright though! I'll be sure to get at least one trip in to the mountains for a day or two. Go ride some four-wheelers up there or something, that's always fun.
  17. Cool. My quote... from a LONG time ago.
  18. Wow. That's hilarious... lol.
  19. I watched the ATHF movie today. Suffice to say, it sucked. It had some funny parts, but the majority of the movie was pretty lame.
  20. Wow, what a turn this topic has taken. Anyway, I'd just like to say that football is the best sport in the world. NFL > NBA. I don't know if that is even on topic, but I think it's in the general area.
  21. Yeah, we might as well be chanting 'Death to America' while we're at it.
  22. True, people are changing in that period of their life, but it doesn't mean ALL people are going to drastically change. Things can work out, but I agree, most of the time it probably won't last all that long.
  23. Not necessarily. I've got a friend who had been dating a girl since they were both around 15 or so. They just got married about a year ago. I'm not saying they all are like that, but just because they are young, doesn't mean things won't last. I've got two other friends who dated from the time they were 14-15 until the guy graduated ahead of the girl, then they eventually broke up after he went to college.
  24. Three years age difference (at 14-17, anyway) could be a 'big' difference, but at the same time, it doesn't have to be. When I was 17 I had a good female friend that was 14. If things would have gone that way, I would have dated her in a heartbeat. Her being 14 didn't make her immature in anyway. In fact, she was a lot more mature than a lot of 17 or 18 year olds that I hung out with. Being 14 doesn't automatically make a person immature, and vice versa. I also knew many 14 year olds who acted like they were 10, as I'm many 17 or 18 year olds I knew at the time acted like. Age can, but isn't always a factor when it comes to maturity. It all depends on the person. I don't see anything wrong with a 14 year old dating a 17 year old. In attractions case, like he said himself, he's a few years behind in relationships. I think he's a few years behind in maturity (based on my experiences around him ), so he might fit right in to the 'standard 14 year old maturity level'. Again, I age shouldn't be necessarily be a factor when looking at relationships. Sure, there'd be something wrong with a 13 year old dating a 20 year old or something, but a few years (even as teenagers) isn't always a huge difference.
  25. NBC discovered this morning that the shooter mailed a package to them between the two shootings. It contained numerous pictures of him with his weapons, along with a 1800 (I think) word "manifesto" along with a few videos with him explaining, in his words at least, the reasoning behind why he did what he did. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/18138369/
