This has been tried like a gazillion times. There have been advertising on free sites, posters, stickers, Facebook, Twitter, some tried to get it on X-Box, etc. The point is, it's an almost 20 year old game that hasn't been updated in forever. There is no money being put to advertising because well, its a free game. You need money to put into it to get good advertising. WIth games like League of Legends (free), WoW, flash games, cell phone games, etc - no one wants to play an outdated 2d spaceship game. My suggestion, enjoy it while it lasts. Play in other zones like EG and TW.

Hello all, Been awhile since I've been on here. But I just loaded up the game again and have been playing. I have been playing a non-SSC zone. Seeing as there isn't many zones on SSC anymore, I was wondering what it takes to be on SSC Billing and a legit server. Who would be the best person to contact about this? Thanks

I made a post a lonnggg time ago asking about a video editing software. I have since formated my PC and lost the program. I can't think of the program that I was using but someone referred it to me. It was a great program. Anyways, if anyone knows of any video editing software, can you please let me know. Downloadable or free.

In your profile, click key defs. You can change they key defs there. But I don't believe you can change the pg up and pg down key to tick players. That may be coded in the game.

Download and burn to a disc. They are .ISO http://www.memtest.org/ This will test your memory to make sure it is good. http://www.hitachigst.com/support/downloads/#DFT This will test your harddrive. I would run these first to make sure neither one of those are bad. Check the motherboard for swollen or blown capacitors. If all that passes, try a Windows XP cd. If that installs fine then it is something with that CD.

So Mecbots server finally shit the bed. They are looking for a new server. Since they are already SSC, I figured they could keep SSC while moving to another server if all goes planned. My question is...who's hosting these days and how can I get in contact with them. Whether it be SSCE, SSCU, SSCV, etc. Anyone have any spots open for an ol' SSC zone?
