  1. you should go out more. uhmmmm, really where in my post did i insinuate or imply that i don't go out flab-!@#$%^&*? Seriously, make some more sense in your posts and try to back them up, rather than say random !@#$%^&* that make you look like an idiot. Well as far as i can see your bored of this game. Why carry on visting a forum of a game you obviously don't like playing. Not everyone has played this game for 5+ years. Move on. Do something you enjoy. Posting in here is wasting your time. Unless you are on a mission to damage a game because you can't stand the thought that other people still enjoy it. fatty. my mission here is to make u miserable. it takes only one minute out of a day of my life. it's well worth it to see u suffer
  2. It might be fun still for nostalgia's sake.. but you must admit you don't play it every day now do you? (Mario that is)... i'm still confused at how many ppl (vets) still log on to subspace everyday, manage to convince themselves that the game is fun, and decide to belittle newbs at this game.... I mean, logging on once in a while is pretty fun, but everyday is seriously a lot.
  3. QUOTE(SD>Big @ Feb 17 2007, 09:36 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>all i hear is blah blah blah, i'm so much better cause i left, blah blah blah, you should do as i say cause i know best blah blah blah guess what stupids, we're going to keep playing this game cause we enjoy it. when we stop enjoying it, we will stop playing it. if you do not enjoy it, stop playing it. if you do not enjoy it and have stopped playing it and are coming on the forums to let us know, stfu! rofl i love what im sparking here... this is hilarious.... i mean you guys have managed to convince yourselves that you like this game! it's amazing!! it's !@#$%^&*ing awesome. I have to write an essay on how the subspace community has turned a novelty game into a cult classic. Really this is !@#$%^&*ing amazing that grown up 13-21 year olds are finding sunday-morning flyer action figure cutouts still so fascinating!

  5. Just because you don't play it anymore you want the whole of Subspace/Continuum to die? That's quite an egoistic at!@#$%^&*ude. That isn't what im saying at all. SS is a dying game, there is nothing that can be done to stop it, technology is improving bringing out better games with more advanced gameplays and better graphics. SS can stay alive forever depending on how long he hordcore fans want to stay because they will probably be the last ones remaining. With all this talk about creating updates and people creating new ideas for new zones just makes it feel like continuum is being dragged through the dirt. If I knew that the development of the game would help continuum then i would contibute whatever skills I have to help but the chances are that it's not going to help. Alot of people on the game are !@#$%^&*heads, there arent many new people because theres no chance of them playing against an expert and playing well. The chances are they will lose and the elite person will talk a load of !@#$%^&* then the new person leaves never to return. The game is basically full of veterans that dont let new people have a chance in winning/playing/enjoying the game. Whats the point in all the struggle? Do any of you still actually enjoy playing this game or is it only an addiction? Games are suppose to be fun, this game was fun years ago but now its just plain boring. couldn't have said it any better. yes, all this talk about development is bull!@#$%^&*. the only advanced development we have is Metal Gear, where we have sunday-morning flyers cutout of infantry action figures who cant even move their legs around. Sure i'll grant you the gameplay is amazing, but seriously, i'd rather play HALO (the real one) than play subspace. and for your information, I have quit subspace, you losers. So don't tell me to leave the game when i already left. I'm not even playing any games anymore since theyre a waste of time.. maybe Free Infantry once in a while... Sure kicks MG's !@#$%^&*...
  6. good luck
  7. see the difference between infantry population and subspace population is that infantry ppl have lives. on friday nights, everybody is out partying and clubbing. whereas subspace population are nerds. we sit around the computer all day and get fat and die at the age of 30 (which btw doesnt help out our population at all. EXERCISE YOU !@#$%^&*GOTS)
  8. You're quite right. Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
  9. i dont want to have the flash drive, but can i have the toes?
  10. myspace.com and lets see that letter from your local government
  11. Mtn... I was owner of SSCC / SSCX Omega Fire for quite a while for quite a while. At that time, I saw no point to subspace and so i quit at the time... Again, a lot of ppl are telling me to quit subspace if i don't like it. Listen, whenever i log onto continuum (and i barely do), i just log on once a week for 5 minutes to chat with some ppl and see if theres any interesting conversation.... i don't really play In essence, I kinda did quit. There's nothing really interesting in subspace anymore. it's boring. you tell me if i hate subspace, I should leave... why should i? I mean, there are a lot of ppl who hate vegetables but they eat it once a while... SD big - i would suggest you read what i have to say..
  12. Let SS Die: Why we don't need it anymore. Such a bold statement, but why are we constantly convincing ourselves that there is something new and innovative about this game? Lets admit it - the graphics are !@#$%^&*. The infantry zone's graphics are not anywhere comparable to the Sony's version of infantry. There is no development on PRiit's end (and even if there was, nothing major will happen). So who are we kidding? Subspace isn't fun! But what have we created here? We've managed to convince ourselves that subspace is fun, and there is a future. We have high hopes that SS will be great one day - it it won't. We've created ourselves a false hope. Nothing is going to happen. Sure, squads, and online friends are perhaps the reasons why people stay on this game. But honestly, talk to them online through MSN or AIM or something. You don't need to hang around this game just to talk to them. Why are we still playing this game. The death of Subspace is long overdue. SSCouncil won't let anybody do anything. They were once fresh bloods full of ideas, and now they've turned conservative, and apathetic. Why are we still contributing to this game? Don't tell me that you love this game. You might have liked it a few years ago when you started playing, but please admit to me one thing: the novelty of the game wears off. Like any objects or items of desire, their novelty will wear off. So what happens when the novelty wears off? We try to convince ourselves that this is still an awesome game. We convince ourselves that this game is still fun because we're joined to this elite group of squadmates, or staff.. or SSCouncil... So when the game no longer becomes fun, we start to seek status in the game. We start to want to be known in the community.. so we can have our ego stroked by a bunch of nerds who sit behind the screen, afraid to show their faces in the real world. This has been going on for the past 10 years since this game was created, and it is because of this 10th year, that the ego has taken a turn for the worse. Ever wonder why Swift barely plays this game anymore? (I'm not making a personal attack on you swift. I need to illustrate a point. i am making an observation. hope you don't hate me.).. It's because he's already reached the top of the SS Ladder. He's already hailed as a legend and now he's on to another game (WoW) that has tons of better graphics and has more worth than an old, beat-up 2d spaceship game. SS is not a game anymore. Rather, its an ugly community of players who are seeking status. That's all you can see Subspace as. It's no longer about the game. It's the status. In life, we constantly try to define ourselves, our iden!@#$%^&*y through interactions with other people. We define ourselves by who we are, but essentially we can find out who we are by who we are NOT. Who we are NOT can be found out through interactions with friends, families and enemies. In subspace, we are all seeking some sort of a relationship... unfortunately, this relationship has inevitably become hierarchical. Staff define themselves as NOT players. Squadmates define themselves as "not rejects," that sort of deal. My point? There is no easy solution to this. I'm just pointing to the dark underbelly of subspace. This hierarchical relationship has been around since 10 years ago in subspace, but has never been so prominent until this very day. People are speaking up wanting to revive this game. People are not even yet in their stage of revolt; they are looking for affirmative action, yet the SSCouncil refuse to he of service. These genuine people with their interests vested in this game have been shot down by power-hungry mongrels who want to keep their sweet kick-!@#$%^&* spots in SSCouncil... Defining themselves as the SS elites.. an exclusive club of individuals who are "not losers." SSCouncil. There's no harm in letting the people do what they want. We don't want power. We just want a say. We want our voices heard. You say you are server hosts. You ultimately want more populations coming to your zones and having fun right? Then let us help. We are not trying to revolt or bring you guys down. Keep your positions. Lets see some thing done. As for the people who are slowly rising against the SSCouncil for change, make a proposal. They are not going to listen to you if all you're going to do is criticize, criticize criticize. If you have new ideas, bring them up and let them hear it out. So far i have heard nothing in terms of proposal other than the fact you're all banking on the idea that Priitk might give up his code and development will happen from then. If you have no ideas, then you're no better than the SSCouncil. These are some of the observations i made from a sociological standpoint. Please feel free to leave coments (nice ones and constructive ones. I don't need kiddy bashing )
  13. AT least he didnt delete Gravitron's sarcastic post. I found it highly entertaining and grade A comedy.
  14. Can you make me a Spiderman Banner so i can put it on my signature?
  15. I want this question asked. The day the players start paying for the servers and putting up with how re!@#$%^&*ed they are then they can vote on council members. This is a free game, no player has any rights to tell any of us who spend countless hours and countless dollars financing this game how we should run our zones/servers/billers/etc. This isn't a democracy, this isn't a nation state, grow up. ur absolutely right SVS. SSCouncil's Mission Statement: Death to Subspace!
  16. holy !@#$%^&*. he actually believed us
  17. !@#$%^&* developping the website. i say we hire these indians to play subspace
  18. it's true but no body has any indian connections. and even if we did, how do we bring 5000 players onto a new client without a central subspace website?
  19. Technically, to make it into the World Market these days, you need to type fast. I project within 5 years time, programs will be developped a dime a dozen. There are way too many programmers these days with super fast typing skills. Soon what's going to happen is that they're gonna hire guys who can type at 140wpm to program since they'll be able to whip out a program in less than 2 days.. Thats the average typing speed of most programmers. Pretty soon, programs are going to come cheap... but keep in mind, this is only entry level programming where you are producing stock programs for companies. Once you move up the ladder, of course you will need to produce good quality programs but still you need to type fast. You get paid just a bit more. not a lot though. already, our programming jobs are starting to go to India where Indians are starting to catch up in terms of technological knowledge (Read The World is Flat by Thomas Friedman) -- they type uber fast... average is 150 wpm. thats not bad. they can whip up a good program within 1 day (reason being is that they are so diligent and they barely make any mistakes in the process of programming that they can do it this fast).. anyways, thats my perspective. i've been doing C++ and C and Python for many years and its starting to become a declining market for North Americans.
  20. wow polix. You rant on and on every post about how you and swift spend sweet time together drinking booze out on the balcony discussing the future of SSForum, and now he's not calling you back. Sucks that you're not feeling that electrical impulse go through your spine when you see swift's name appear on your cell fone while its ringing. Maybe thats how i can rise to my ranks in subspace. Suck swift's !@#$%^&*. Reality check polix: You've been dropped out of swift's life. you've been used and now ur useless Lol. Actually it's more the other way around. I think I miss more of his phone calls then he does mine. Actually, he answers everytime I call, I answer maybe 1/5, lol. Mostly cause he always finds a way to call when i'm at work, or out somewhere where I can't answer or don't hear it. Speaking of which, I need to call him right now. And where do I rant on every post? And like he doesn't say anything. Well, more in game then on the forums. Like when I'd give him !@#$%^&* and stuff. On top of that, and Swift will agree, I was the one who helped him get into the admin position on these forums/site. When SVS got lazy, I replaced him with Swift. I also got him onto the council after talking with Mike about adding some fresh faces and all. He wanted to, and Swift was one of the 1st. So how bout you don't stick that nose of yours where it don't belong, and I won't have to re-add your old ban. lol be my guest. maybe once forum posts start to become more meaningful, i'll consider begging you to lift my ban. until then ciao
