Tight lipped, eyes small and narrow staring at Feiticera, almost evaluating him amongst the other man out of the three of them. His gaze slowly shifted away from them both though, a non blinking look remaining in those dark blue orbs. Long strides stepping him to the box, with deliberate hands pushed open the clips and looked inside the box

I can't imagine any number of people in there making it good. It's a badly set up map and zone idea. I don't want to sit around for hours collecting bits of plant to raise my 'dexterity by 1' ... Seriously, it's a complete waste of time. To put it blatantly; it's !@#$%^&* :\ And I hardly ever swear... I'm appalled at what could of been something good.

Do you like the movable flag in pub?
StockholmSyndrome replied to The Maurauder's topic in 17th Parallel
Things get worse with the flag game... I went to remove the flag that I was carrying by going into safe and this happened... MODERATOR WARNING: Taking the flag to safe is illegal. -BOT>ScoreBot Stockholm > lmao BOT>ScoreB> Once upon a time, Stockholm Syndrome made the wise decision to take the flag to safe. As a reward, he`s now currently floating in center unable to move or fire. Happy hunting I don't even want to comment on how bad this is -_-; -
barney meets teletubbie mode? And I've given up hope on this server. It looked like it had a good chance. Now they all seem to be amazed by this Arena thing. It's worse than DeathMatch :\ Why change a perfectly good Ctf map to... arena? Some sort of really cheap exp growing shooting game. It's... nasty and tacky. Well... there goes that idea on Infantry
-
I think Dakillaroach means that when you open the zone list, TP is not there anymore. DM: The Arena is. The admins there seem... a bit immature. They insult and whine a little as well as frequently changing the maps around. Most annoying

I actually think this map should go up for a week. It needs tweaking; -the removal of north base and south safe (both of those changed to the current cool looking safes we have) -asteroids or something similar and small to be scattered in the middle so it's not completely empty -The weasel tubes that connect to inner base adjusted to the changes Telson made in current pub. -Maybe more tweaking along the side tunnels But generally... I do quite like lol Promotes the ball game you wish to treasure, can leave set places for turf flags and should lead to prehaps more exciting base wars.

Ah, ok. Maybe it is pretty cool lol

So yeah... Infantry anyone?

Ok, I've played the flag games a few times now and feel a want to comment upon this more. Your sets and your map are not developed for everything you have going on. You have a map based mainly upon balling yet you wish to include turf flags as was the old description of the zone. Make your mind up of what you really want - flags or balling? Because balling is currently the main focus of the main. If you want to fling a few flags in to keep that old style turf, do so in suitable places. I like the changes of the map, you seem to want to make progress upon the balling and the development of a more interesting zone. So why side track yourself with !bountyrecords and movable flags? If you want that, then change your map! Accomadate your changes, not try and develop something that adds more confusion to the map. This would be a good time to comment on also either finalising your sets or moving onto a completely different set because from my view, they don't fit in well. Some ships seem finished, others do not, yet all these also lend to the problem of them not all working with the flagging. Earlier on my team lost a flagging game against a bunch of cloaked weasels. There is one an unbalance there. Plently more reside in your map and settings - fix then, work together as staff and player and maybe you might come out with a zone that seems more maturely developed. Also, hey thanks Mmav for the really brief chat we had about the zone lol! -

Although this is Continuum, many people came from Infantry to here at various times and for various reasons. I was always a fan of Infantry, dropping in and out. Myself and Beware were talking about Infantry today actually when Raem dropped in and mentioned about a free server for Twin Peaks he found. Looking at the site, downloading and such like, the overall system seemed to work, even in game. Which made me think. Prehaps some time, although this isn't linked to anything continuum (so sorry if this is sort of advertising :z ) but if we all wanted to get together at a time for a game or two of proper CTF in this server, the site is: http://www1.pacific.edu/~j-chan3/infantry/tutorial/ Just follow the instructions really from there. Also the 17th Parallel staff might want to take a look just to some ideas maybe for developing their current flagging game.

Whats so cool about it?
-
Yes; to worm out the weak and impure, to remove those of lesser skills so the team can acomplish future missions of much harder requirements.

I see no point in the flagging my self. -It annoys those people who chase a red dot thinking it's a ball carrier. -When it's on you, it attracts every time wannabe-hunter around you -It adds nothing to the whole point of 17th Public - the ball game Maybe you shouldn't be trying to mix and match the map around. Place flags into increase points for those dieing for bounce, but make them stationary please. Put say 5 or 6 in a suitable location/s in a base. 3 clumped together on outer base and 3 clumped together in inner base prehaps? Make a limit on the flags in each base and set them in appropriate places. That way it shouldn't detract from the ball game, it keeps things simplified for the newbie (like me ^^) and means that the team filled with dirty, filthy weasels won't hunt me as much :\ Oh one more thing; Remove this king of the bounty king. It annoys me... inspiring those who can't kill properly to come and try and lame me constantly as well as pulling people to the side to spend half an our greening... Does it do anything productive?? -

I thought you could identify someone's gender by their genitial... o.o' -
-Levithan to lose a thor and gain a rocket -Weasel to grow to a normal size - base it upon either the weasel in ?go 2v2 or after taking a look at the beta sets with Envenomed, place the weasel from their over here -Give Terrier either a rocket or afterburners -Change the Shark multi-fire in some way to something more interesting while at the same time being useful as it is currently is now (In a vulching sort of way I suppose .__.;

Love the base colors, hate the tubes.
StockholmSyndrome replied to AndurilFlameoftheWest's topic in 17th Parallel
Colours I agree with - nice change I actually prefer the tunnels - they need slight tweaking but the open-ness is good. It leads to different approaches now. Where as before the approach of an enemy or how a spider worked was so completly obvious, this now leads to a more challenging base game in the front half I feel - a place where before people didn't wander because of the obvious death traps. -
