thing is i am cxompletly lost with ASSS

Okay.. Seems like youve come to this topic and thought.. this is just some other scheme or this is just some kid who dosent know how this game works.. your 30% right because im sortof flying blind from time to time. I have been doing this project for one year now.. trying by myself.. obviously that hasent worked. For a year I have been going through the server files from EXE's to the template.sss going back and forth looking for answers to my questions, Talking to BETA Testers and Devisions people from TW Dev to Aquarius's SubSpace Divisions team that help zones.. and yet.. it still hasent help me much.. But the server files seem to have the info on how settings are run and how they work.. so I'm betting it is possible to make new settings. Not like the out of this world settings, but more like taking like the gravity part of settings and make a setting for gravitybullets or GravityPowerballs.. seem alittle crazzy.. but from what ive looked at and reviewed.. it is 70% Possible IMO. If anyone has any information relating to Settings and how they work.. plz post a reply and ill read it and look into it. Since PriitK *CREATED* the server files with the settings and how they work in it, That's one way of seeing it as possible that Grelminar made ASSS aswell. "Sighs" Maybe one of yall will say "Oh I remember hearing about how this works" or MineGoBoom (I hope) will tell me by replying in this topic. Thank you for reading. JabJabJab

Well.. Cant we just make programming to where it turns on continuum for the 2d zones? I mean youd just stick ThirdSpace in the Continuum folder or something with a EXE, but uses MillenniumMan's files when entering a 3d zone and use continuum's files for reg zones we have now. Maybe a Batch file or something.. I know that could be possible. JabJabJab

Oh comon!! I'm thinking.. I give ideas.. so what it sounds big and far fetched.. but if it were made.. it wouldent be much of a jump just from one client to the next just to go to a 3d zone.. Im a thinker.. -.-. no one loves my ideas because they think of the cons.. so what? a little hard work never hurt anyone.. and the server thing is what i though t of first when i wanted to help out with this project too. Im throghing things out there for mill man and yall to tinker with. 1) I'm not stupid on what is going on here.. 2) Don't completly throw away my ideas like their crap. JabJabJab

See MilenniumMan.. How abo ut Making The new 3d client work with the old subsace and the new thirdspace.. so we dont have to jump clients.. so we can select a 2d or 3d zone.. and on the zone list.. you can make a (3d) tag to the 3d zones so people can go to this as a new client.. also alowing both ways. so like it be continuum .39 with an added feature.. a big one. cybersnipe7: dude if u trying to fix a collision proublem with ur file just download the field that they have on the site that says has collision detection and extract the code and insert it in current project

Uhh.. That's um kkkkkaaaayyy.. Btw Priitk's server was a hacking program onto continuum. Maybe you can do the same... probably form it into a server file or something.. or just create youre own client that can hook up with both 2d continuum and 3d Cointinuum (your's.. Make it flexible.) That could be possible. JabJabJab ... and we really need the luck.

Ofc not. From what i see dear bomber, Is that million man in making a 3d server version, or making a client thats flexible or something. you will see soon enough. <3 JabJabJab

I need to learn c/c++ first, and i dont know where to get it. but i know how t trace problems in the systems by the errors it receives like dll's and some other stuff i cant think of at the moment but lol id like to learn alot from this expirement and i have grerat faith on this thing because i know millenniumMan is too. Been waiting for 2 years on you man. <3 JabJabJabJab P.S. what if you can make a gravity on each flat side of a tile and make it 100% hard andbarely going around the tile with a radius? wouldent that make a bounce without coliding into the object with that error you said.. makes scence that repeling for a smal second with the right amont of hardness makes it act like a mock of a bounce.

Closed Source FTW. From what I'm seeing with the source code, is that you need so much more than ASSS used to make their own server. More code, more crap for hackers, etc. Lol. I'm not saying this is completly true, but I go for Closed source. Mill Man, if you can, tell us about you're ideas towards the Map editor. I can't wait to have so much more to create with this new stuff. JabJabJab

Heh.. Mullenium.. I think Releasing to the public is a bad thing atm.. give it to the people you know are specialized in theis catagory like True_Vision or Cybersnipe and The ASSS dude. G man.. yeah. w/e . just remember, you cant handle special new equipment into a random guys hands that dosent know what they hay he's doing. I've been Trying to make this zone for 2 years with this kindof software.. didnt know how to do it until i heard of this today. though im glad you didn't give up Id love to use it for my SS3D Server and SS3D Monopoly zone because it is the best idea ive had ever. though i wont tell it because i know people steal idseas from forums so... I also have ideas for the Map editor. Make it a giant cube.. but with polygon things.. you should make dots on the creases of the lines or corners of the boxes and you can drag an image to the box and have properties for sides and etc. so everything can match up to be where you dont hit a invisable nothing of a tile. it's like How they create the animation movies exept you know its limited numbers and with how the game works. so this is it MM I rely on you to ge this done. and id love to help with the ideas for the Map editor <3 JabJabJab
