  1. the parents aren't even old enough to legally get a part time job.
  2. I think it's surprising to see 12 year old father and that's why ppl make big deal.
  3. new twist: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/463...ie-not-his.html
  4. also it's in england so the laws are probably different. for the record the statutory rape laws are ridiculous in that respect (I mean if she was 15 and he was 12 I wouldn't consider that rape). Although I'm having a tough time coming up with a better solution. It seems that either you can properly weigh the decision to have sex or you can't, and that there needs to be some transition period. Maybe like anyone under 16 can have sex with anyone under 16, then 16-18 you have to be within 2 years. i don't understand what you mean "Shot of sex ed" ?!?
  5. well he looks like he's 8, anyways: http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/article2233878.ece
  6. I'm surprised how many people are disagreeing with Veg on this one. Illegal immigrants do pay some taxes like sales tax. Also, they're good for businesses because they do the same work as an American worker for less money and benefits. They also do consume some resources while here like food and board which feeds money back into other businesses.
  7. i find it funny how people can not pay taxes and get away with it... isn't it cost effective to pay people to stop this this is why I liked Huckabee's national sales tax thing. First off, no one has to file personal income taxes, and, save through cooperation with a business, no one gets around paying.
  8. y dont we just ban isreal ips from internets
  9. The reality is probably somewhere in the middle where, yes, the terrorist label does have some requirements. We couldn't go and call the democrats a terrorist organization even if we were politically motivated to do so. However, there are political motivations when we have two groups both killing civilians for political gain and we label one a terrorist group and not the other one. Vegita's advice is probably best where we give some weight to being labeled a terrorist group, but don't use the government's declaration as unquestionable proof (which then brings up the question as to why vegita would list off two dozen countries labeling a group a terrorist as acceptable proof). It's probably best to focus on the actions that each group performs, and the motivations they do perform them for, rather reducing what is occurring to a label like terrorism.
  10. Afganistan is in an active war zone comon. We also don't have to put them all in the same jail, so there still won't be a large amount of terrorists in a single prison in the usa. I don't see why we would trust another country's prison securing capabilities more than our own.
  11. better the large-scale organized attack be done on a jail than on civilians, and I think you're overestimating the possibility of it happening. when has there ever been such a jail break? I also don't think getting into the country is very difficult. is the lock on your front door your best defense against home invasion? do you think it will actually deter someone who's committed to doing one?
  12. what's wrong with putting them in a US maximum security prison again?
  13. I was being safe when I didn't wear seatbelts because I didn't get in a crash.I didn't use protection but we still had safe sex because I didn't get an STD/pregnant. Russian Roulette is a safe game because I didn't get kill myself.
  14. 1300 dead palestinians 13 dead isrealies
  15. they would be saying why weren't they taken off the plane and questioned by someone who can discern a real threat from a fake one (the FBI)
  16. ^ i loled of course the policy is to err on the side of caution. one passenger suspects another is a terrorist for reason X... you're honestly saying we should trust the discretion of the flight attendent that received the report on whether to take the claim seriously?
  17. won't the free market end segregation? I mean, if airtran won't let them fly won't they just get a flight with a different company?
  18. You, along with 2/3 of the US population, are subject to government searches! http://rawstory.com/news/2008/ACLU_highlig...miles_1022.html http://www.aclu.org/privacy/spying/areyoul...onfreezone.html
  19. someone reported that they suspected they might be terrorists airtran did not want to allow suspected terrorists to fly on their planes related, what do you think the do not fly list is? it's not an arrest-on-sight list of known terrorists, it's a list of suspected terrorists.
  20. So you're saying they delayed the plane for the FBI to do the interview? source?
  21. airtran has since changed their stance: I think if another customer reports someone as suspicious they are required to take them off the plane and do an interview.
  22. it seems like there's always a 10:1 ratio of dead Palestinians to dead Israelites. Usually you gotta wait until the next generation before displacement issues resolve themselves, but if they keep fighting like this there's no end in sight... maybe a big minefield like between the Koreas?
  23. happy tree?
  24. when we were kids our parents made us wrap our own gifts...
  25. http://www.upi.com/Science_News/2008/10/10...46631223654965/ "You couldn't blame them for reproducing asexually because the sex is often quite violent."
