If you're using the speed up firefox trick found here : --------- it makes firefox connect to a website through multiple connections and so, it won't be able to browse because continuum is using the ports.

OS: Windows XP Pro SP1 (upgrading to SP2 2moz) CPU: AMD Athlon xp pro 1700+ which ive overclocked a little bit GFX card: Nvidia riva tnt2 md64 32MB :drivers:uptodate PRIMARY HDD: 32GB IBM 7200rpm SECONDARY HDD: 8GB SEAGATE rpm (dunno) Bios: AWARD :drivers:uptodate RAM: 640MB (tried 1024MB with another stick of 512MB and nearly melted board) Mboard: Can't remeber but was cheap!@#$%^&* and cost me about £ Spyware/adware:Completely free checked with several programs (p.s maybe you can have this problem sorted out by the next time i come back to continuum)

the account is obviously taken just try to make up a new nickname that no 1 will think of, then when it doesnt work try it only once and use another name, u cant do anything about the error as it is a security measure and u must wait about a min of 3 hrs until u can try another password also, sum1 else did this are u sure u r actually editing the nickname line when u put in a new nickname and not the profile line, check tech support thers a similar problem and a better explanation there

theres no error, it means the link is not referring to any file, the file cnl08.zip (or whatever) has been removed or whatever

yes bargeld i have tro ctrl alt del each time my comp starts up because i have three firewalls on and they all want to start up, i use em all tho when i use limewire etc, so stfu Know it all which u dont

disappearing and reappearing but sometimes both so the program is trying to restart itself pfft i dunno

tryed it, i reboot practically every day ive deleted all traces of continuum and reinstalled it....nothing continuum.exe just goes up and down the list

no u see u dont understand when i do manage to actually click end process when i do it fast i get that error message. and i besides ending the task will not help me play will it? im going to sleep 00:54 here... g'nite y'all

yer when i see it in task manger under processes its jumping up and down the list i cant end the task, cuz continuum.exe is going up and down the list when i do it real fast i get an error message saying "this action is not valid fot the process" or something to that effect

ffs, ok i open continuum.exe, ok it doesnt load then i log off i recieve error message i log back in on same account and when i open continuum.exe it works, then if i close it and reopen it it doesnt work, mmm kay

this only happens sumtimes, it could only be all the time if it was in the server.cfg so no and a cloaker in front of me thats just dumb cuz the bomb doesnt even explode..... next...

been there, done that, got the t shirt, no i havent installed ANYTHING, drivers, browsers, games, programs, any hardware or any software absolutely nothing ive allready done a system restore to my last good config with continuum and nothing, and please do not patronise me with this useless information, ive used a program to remove all traces of continuum from the registry, and reinstalled it again ive got a shareware system monitor which sees software conflicts, and nothing, more info: if i try and load it and log off or shutdown etc a dialog window comes up with DLL initialisation failed! "the application cannot start because the window station is shutting down" then whats even stranger if i start up continuum again it worx however when i close it and open it again for the second time it doesnt load... now tell me whats what cuz i dont have a clue i can still play continuum on my other hard drive however...

maybe im exaggerating but PL with me is bad on my other comps its fine but on this one is like the demon of p; but im not exaggerating about bombs going thru ppl and bombs going thru me...... and when i mean disappear straight away, i mean it disappears after the screen goes to next image, i do know u know i wudnt be writing in tech support if i didnt know otherwise....

u just usually register a profile by just enetring in the profile information, then you go into a zone and u will get a dialog box "Unknown user, register this profile" or sumthing like that i think i know the problem tho, go to ur continuum folder and make sure profile.dat zone.dat and any other dat files are NOT set to read only also try a name which is just a bunch a numbers to test whether it is the csoftware or just names

thats the exact problem i gt, will u tell me if when u do ctrl alt and delete continuum.exe jumps up and down the list? i have the prob now... also cd u say if u hav winxp sp1? and no i dont have emule i have 32mb card and have no trouble on my other hard drive i have NO spyware/adware, i have not installed anything recently it just stopped working whereas before the game worked fine on my xp, ive uninstalled reinstalled to my hearts content... nothing

can u atleast put 0.8 back up on cnl.sscentral.com? so we can look at the client and then we can have it as soon as server is up? cmon
