<- just about mainly because hyperspace fails on ladders because everyone's ship is different, therefore people might lose just because their ship config is not as good as someone elses. HS ladders arent pure skill.
well if banning or killing is the issue, have starlight attempt to reconnect at least once, and if it notices a "you are banned" or "you are locked" message, then do not attempt to reconnect anymore. And also have a ?reconnect command (in case some people are too lazy to click)

i was never interfering with the tournament, i was just observing that everyone was soooo amazed that he was hosting it, when all it is, is a simple ladder.
If you guys can come up with questions that don't suck, send them to and they might just get answered as part of a maybe regular column on a topic in this forum or my website.
holy !@#$%^&*, a simple ladder system is NOT hard... do none of you notice that all it is, is a simple ladder/bracket? a lot of people could make these in their sleep. and just from experience, the hoster should not be part of the tournament. also, whats the prize?
dont use the command prompt. Use continuum's built in Tracer and if the problem IS hopone (which it usually is), there isnt anything you can do about it. Hopone has been having routing problems for continuum for years...
