highschools are on a 4.0 grading scale. 4.0+=A its still just a number. they would rather have a person with a 4.3 than a 4.0

If you take an AP class, your grade gets a .5 GPA boost for that class. so if you get a 4.0 (A) in the class, it goes on ur transcript as a 4.5
