This is a total guess but I think they get paid extra by whatever make of console (e.g. Sony) to stay exclusive to that console. For example. Sony may have paid a few million to Square Enix to keep their previous games exclusive to Sony. Anyway I don't see what difference it makes for the gamers. I don't understand why gamers can hate Square Enix for their decision as they still get the game on their console. I guess they just like hording. I keep telling you this, having both consoles I still prefer playing on the Xbox 360 and I will continue to keep buying games on the 360 rather than the ps3 until I see it worth changing. Xbox 720 comes out in 3-4 years anyway. i don't understand, for like the past few months the only game you've been playing on the xbox is call of duty 4. it's the same with most of you guys, u all brag about how the xbox is superior but really the only games you're enjoying are multi platformed
