  1. Just to point out a couple things: According to MonteZuma's statistics: Percent of gun deaths by homicide among children 15 and under: Israel: % Finland: 71% U.S.: 55% Also, I'm not sure if things like this story are a result of the same mentality that leads to gun control laws or not.
  2. Don't you Kerry supporters have some U.N. officials to be !@#$%^&*kissing somewhere?
  3. Right, that essay is completely relevant, because, as we know, the cir-*BAD WORD*-stances in Iraq were exactly the same in 2003 as they were in 1991, including the Arab coalition that refused to push into Iraq.
  4. Your Personal issues Score is 50%. Your Economic issues Score is %. Centrist, but on the conservative/libertarian corner.
  5. Agreed. Sudan on the Human Rights Commission? Ludicrous. Might want to read this speech; it really takes the U.N. to task on its rabid anti-Jewish bias. I wonder how they plan to stop Israel from building the wall? Invade? Oops, the U.S. and Britain won't do it. I'd just love to see the French try to invade Israel.
  6. Economic Left/Right: 3.38 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 0.97 Heil.
  7. Umm, can you read? This isn't the -*BAD WORD*-ing Holy Roman Empire. The first time you mention the word religion or god in a political speach you should get your -*BAD WORD*- impeached. One word, Amen. Unfortunately, you then violate the very same amendment, since you'd be infringing upon the President's free exercise.
  8. Computer fugged up.
  9. OHNOz! bush WanTZ tO takE OVr teh uS!!11!!11 Of course, we just have to hope that the U.S. isn't as easily influenced as Spain and the Philippines.
  10. It may have been a server error. It sounds like the server thought that you were the other person. Changing frequencies (speccing) may have forced the server to refresh your information, ending the problem. Don't take my word for it, though.
  11. Yeah, keeping the DOS windows open would help, since they are your billing server and zone. It's hard to connect to a zone that's not online. Also, make sure you're not behind a firewall or anything.
  12. You might also want to read this article from Slate.
  13. Odd, my AP U.S. History textbook is pretty unbiased. It doesn't even deal with the Soviet Union that much.
  14. News flash! This just in! Country puts its own interests first! More at eleven! Unless you're referring to nuclear weapons, I have no idea what you're talking about when you say that we're pushing other countries to disarm. If you are referring to nuclear weapons, then you're conveniently ignoring all the disarmament pacts that the U.S. has with Russia, the world's second-biggest nuclear power. It isn't like we're just going to get rid of all our nukes tomorrow while other countries still have them, but we can attempt to stop other countries from developing them in the meantime, especially countries ruled by anti-West, authoritarian regimes.
  15. Unfortunately, plenty of people can p!@#$%^&* fifth grade (or get "socially promoted") when they are utter morons. I agree with MonteZuma. 18 for everything, at least in the U.S. Why, you ask? You have to be 18 to join the military (once again, in the U.S.). If you're not old enough to defend the country, then you shouldn't be allowed to enjoy its privileges. And I'm 16, so don't tell me that I'm trying to impose some sort of unrealistic expectation upon youth.
  16. Mmm, Chamberlain-style. Peace in our time, eh? I mean, it's obvious that everyone would just leave us alone and love us if the U.S. pulled out of every country tomorrow and went back to 1920s isolationism. The whole world would be just one big happy place.
  17. If you and your festering grasp of English went first, I'd die happy.
