yeh im pretty sure that was me in the final 3 lol. I probably wont make it this time considering i didnt get an appropiate start till a week ago, unless i play non stop tomorrow night, which will probably not happen. Its a good concept all though there are more skilled players than the last winner, no offense sputnick. But that is the key, you have to think rather than just go into it, its rather obvious its going to be a vulchfest thats why you plan around it, and i !@#$%^&*ed near won the thing if i had saved the warp i got.

I for one am opposed to it, for several reasons, the main one being i dont have a will to go fight in a war, yet the draft is against the ideals of freedom and choice, people volunteer so they can fight, thats the whole idea, but if you force someone into doing something that isnt what they want to do its not good for the moral of the war or whatever, wise man Confucious said, " Whereever you go go with all your heart" If that -*BAD WORD*- of a president is so blind to see that he has millions upon millions who protest, yet puts them into a situation that dangers their lives, itd just be another example of how blind sighted he is to everything. He seems to be blind to the fact of 1000 soldiers losing their life yet its important to stay the course, what course is there in iraq, everyday new generations are being inspired to be antiamerican, its a never ending process you cant terminate it. The draft is an outdated idea now and it would only rehash old sentiments of the past, and you cant recreate the WW 2 days, Warfare is completely different, and more dangerous. 5. John Kerry. If he is elected which i hope to God he is, the draft will be a non issue and will encourage volunteerism by giving more rewards to those who join, and frankly the foreign community is probably sick and tired of ol George, and will be invigorated with a new leader, and be more inclined to join and help, he would also involve the UN, and would not push world help away. In closing, this is all about the votes. This is a post that wont reach very many, i would like for it to meet a ton of voters just to change their mind. I mean i would like to be alive and intact and able to get married and live the life that i want to live. The man we want is still walking free. He killed 3000 innocent lives on our own soil. How our president, even consider going to war with another nation, when they had nothing to do with 9/11? How is it that afghanistan is the "forgotten war" when it was supposed to be the War of revenge for all of those lives. Ossama declared War on us. He wrote out a declaration of jihad to Americans. I got a milkshake today, and it was 3.95.....wtf??? Now im figuring, i didnt ask for whipped cream on top of it, so does that mean that a small dab of whipped cream is 55 cents? 3.95 is still a high price anyway. Im in college. Its just that usually milkshakes cost around 2 dollars, or at least the ones at mcdonalds do, so im trying to figure what would be in the extra two dollars.

Ok im here at school and i went to go get a chocolate shake. I had already spent money on a nice cheeseburger, and i had 3 dollars and 50 cents left. I was figuring that the shake would be about 2.50 - 3 dollars, so i had enough i thought. Turns out that the shake was 4.50 for a small. So right now im sittin here pissed and bored in computer lab, im having milkshake withdrawels. What id like to know what was in that shake to make it so high.....maybe ill grow some chest hair

Woot, it finally got fixed yesterday afternoon somehow, and i returned to my rear kickin ways. but yeh, two of them servers on the trace list i had had 85 percent packet loss.

Day 3 and still laggy. I checked out the trace thing on the game, of course i see the top two are the servers that i am closest too,t hen on down the list there are 3 i guess u call them ports which have like 85% packet loss, with a red bar , is that whats lagging me?

Okay, i know i will get the "is you you 56ker, blah blah yakey smack", but for the past two days i have lagged up the yin yang and i havent been downloading any thing and i have the yahoo anti spyware/adware tool bar, so i shouldnt have any spyware on here slowing it down. I havent lagged this much for a long while even with 56k, i usually can stay in the game for more than 2 minutes.Cuz right now i have one of the best ratings in the game and a good rec going, and i dont want this if im gonna be in that tourney, or more importantly if i keep lagging im not gonna be able to play at all any more. Any thoughts or suggestions?

All i see is two people whining until they get their way, and ive offered my suggestions about pub earlier, and the majority of the posts in this are trying to undermine the descisions of staff full of negativity and smart -*BAD WORD*- comments. I also think its funny how you believe that your way is the way that it will draw everyone back to pub in a flourish of excitement. Your sadly mistaken. Ive said my ideas earlier, and i have more stored up in case. and tell me delic, prominent player of the 17th, when have you played last and what is your record? Because, i am a player of the 17th. Show us your debating skills by answering a straight question. and the word MY is possessive, so I am taking it that it is no one else's zone, seemingly infering with other posts that your way is the best. Seems as if you are offering the old style of play, alienating players who have played with the prominent and highly favored "new" map. As an ER, i remember vile getting us to test the some of the new set ideas, and we offered opinions, i believe some of the pub players got to go in as well. While the forums are advertised daily in pub, this forum stictly adheres to people who have played a couple of years and more, so their isnt this accurarcy that "everyone" wants your way of pub, etc. Its based simply upon the fact that people who were here before the current sets "probably all who is in this post except me" will have their nostaligia fullfilled, when the 75 percent who were not there, will more than likely disagree, and i have heard comments of the old pub from people who have been in it. So even if you are tickling the fancy of the "old geezers" sorry had to say that, lol you are not necessarily getting to the right people. Therefore, the cause on this post is null. I simply, am debating that you dont have the knowledge of all the players, and i frankly am sick of you replying with the same song. I am Anduril and i approve this message.

Its a game, and i think its funny how you are trying to align yourselves into two factions, one against the current pub, you know life doesnt revolve around the 17th, grow up. If you wanna be in politics run for congress, debate over something that has actual merit. I go to play and enjoy myself, if you cant enjoy yourself then leave, no ones forcing you to play.

And the players names that i see on his screenshots, are the majority, with the exception of one or two(Prayer@God) and (666axer666) , players that usually play on the 17th. I havent seen any uprise in new players, but the ones who usually play and usta play are playing more frequently, with maybe one or two new. So if dsbs population is 1 or 2 i can see your point. Okay. I'm tryin to remember last time you played levi......oh wait....i cant. In fact, i dont think you have even played pub in a long time, and as im looking now your rec is 4-1. Also, just because youve played it more doesnt mean your good at it

oh i can play it, but in a matter of actually moving and getting away, its not that good. By that i mean, ALOT easier to vulch, and bullets are faster than i am used too, and frankly i dont go play it that much, and this levi gives a chance to actually particpate in some open battle, and not excluded to just primarily bases and turreting. Dont talk about a ship you dont even play. I think you need to do better in your own ship before you go around calling a ship newb.

If you are that perturbed with it, then leave. I agree with rifleman. But also Im bored with it now too, but i think the bounty record and tournaments are good ideas, and i think theres been a fairly good reaction to that. And DO NOT knock the levi with portal. and ive seen the old school levi, and frankly it sucked and its only way of survival would be to turret, which is nigh impossible to do these days. I in jan. of last year, and i played for a few months, and i was new so i kinda sucked fairly bad...starting in weasel didnt help either. So i stopped for a few months. But i came back, and ive been playing since december, and playing the levi since early march. I think the pub is overall good, the map that has been used is good, and i think if they end up using the map the past few fridays, people could learn to warm up, but the map that has been used is still a WHOLE lot better than the one used today for freaky friday. I think there should be more compe!@#$%^&*ions in pub to increase either the intensity of the ball game or the playing expieriance itsself. So i will end this post full of typos and opinions. But seriously. I dont plan to be playing this 5 years from now. Hopefully ill have a hot girl that looks like sheryl crow, and ill have made something of myself. Of course, i may still play games occasionally, i cant knock the habit that easy. So, in short. Shutup and play. Have a nice day
