Dragon [YAY! I love these things.]

Although HS seems to be enjoying a nice population boost, I still think that before you bring down another change on us, you should definitely beta it. Also, after making such a change, stick around to fix things that got messed up XD (e.g: l4 weapons, 30 second flagtime) Er... and the transwarp doesn't work either.. Mmm... oh yes. Everybody's playing Levi, and I'm not sure if this is entirely fair for newbies. A Levi with L4 bombs, running around everywhere can spell devestation! But this is only from what I'm looking at, I haven't had the time to experiment and test with the new sets much. Er. Hmmm, I just jumped in and played awhile. While Levis are kill-able and whatnot, there are so many bombs just bouncing around I feel like I'm in a game of dodgeball... And like I said. HS seems to be enjoying a nice boost of newbs, but the vets seem to hate it. So I'm not sure what's going to happen. My suggestion still stands that you should move the new shipsets to a beta arena, and see how the population reacts, without having it "shoved down their throats" so to speak. Anyway. I'm sure the negative comments might change 'round to positives if the change didn't come down so suddenly. People need to test the water. =P EDIT: Yikes, people can go to the hypertunnels and get stuck trying to warp through walls again. EDIT the 2nd: Freq size is no longer limited to 5 players either, it's 10. o.o; EDIT the 3rd: Lol! Arena messages also randomly show up "Welcome to the Hyperspace Beta test! Please report any bugs, glitches, and other problems to siaon@home.nl AND brain@ssihosting.com, it's imperative that you send the mail to BOTH addresses." and the other "Disclaimer: We cannot be held liable for anything that happens while you're visiting this arena. So I was a 1bty, I spawned, and was immediately hit by a bomb and killed. I respawned, and again was immediately hit by a L4 levi bomb and killed. This happened like 5 times in a row. Bad! Another thing about the bombs. It's very possible for a Levi to sit in the middle of center and just create a huge bombline for people to run into. If you keep the sets, this should be illegal.

Alright, now that HS is back up and I actually saw the new sets... I think they suck. Sorry Brain. Lanc speed is ridiculous, Levi bounce is ridiculous anddd... generally I believe the old sets were better. Also: flag time is 30 seconds, better fix that quickly, or else a bunch of people will be getting easy cash. There were 2 balls, but I removed one. Obtaining a flag again boosts you up a level. Agh. Better fix those things soon o.O And if you really want to use these sets, we should have a reset for it to be fair. AND OMG! Holding down shift on my Lanc makes me go faster than using a rocket. Er... WHAT?!

Okay, I wasn't here to test them, but from people's descriptions, it sounds bad. Don't do a sudden change like that without beta-ing it first o.o;

I'm sorry I brought this whole thing up. You will continue to not understand unless you go to a crazy asian school, and there's not really a way for us to have you relate to us. I never said that asians were smarter, but like Mook said, education has such a huge emphasis in asian culture. Other cultures tend to also put a lot of emphasis on sports or the like, but most asians nowadays couldn't care less if their child was a weak little thing with the palest skin ever from never going out in the sun. Just sitting at home and studying constantly, or practicing music. Heh, in fact, if you're asian, adults consider having a tan a really bad thing. Which is why formally in asian, in many plays and occasions, people paint their face white. Bleh. And as for calling us pussies. You really have no right to, as you merely !@#$%^&*umed that we never stand up to parents. I've rebelled so much that my mother actually lets me go out on weekends, and doesn't mind a few B's here and there. It really is a different culture, and you guys cannot claim to be an expert swordsman by merely touching the sword. You guys have probably just touched apon the surface. Now let's drop this topic. You all can clearly not relate, and us trying to explain is like trying to walk through a wall. And Mook and I can really not let go of our arguments either. Let's drop it.

Warning: Major rant below. Actually, being Asian really does affect a lot. Ask bomook. >_> Maybe where you guys are the asians are more americanized, but where I live... asians make up % of the school, and they're nerdy >_> "I'm going to MIT or Caltech" type of asians. Anyway, there's so many of them that they set the standard higher than ever. If you don't get a perfect 1600 on your SATs, you're a "dumb!@#$%^&*", and if you don't get straight A's there's "something wrong with you", and if you're up at 3am, your parents hover around your caffeine-drugged body, lecturing you on how in (native country here) they worked much harder than you, and got whipped for not being perfect! <_< People here are so sheltered and closeminded. I wish they'd get out of this place, be more cultured, and realize that there's more to life than doing homework. I wish they'd realize what the real US standards are, and how not getting into an Ivy league or a Tech school doesn't ruin your life forever. Argh. I wish they'd see that crying over getting a -*BAD WORD*-ing A- doesn't mean -*BAD WORD*-. I wish they'd see how other people in the world live, and how life could be so_much_worse but no. They get depressed over grades. Big deal. ARGH. It sucks. Where I live, people are messed up in the head. Which is why I'm working so hard towards college, so I can get the -*BAD WORD*- out of asian nerdland.

Band is NOT fun! You march about, or stand in one spot and aren't allowed to move for like 6 hours straight in the burning 100 degree weather, and do pushups and run laps if you mess up. No, band is NOT fun anymore. But I can't quit, cause it looks good for colleges. All this -*BAD WORD*-ing crap is put towards college, and definitely is not optional. Believe me, I wouldn't complain or do it if I could help it. They're aren't -*BAD WORD*-ing optional! I'm Asian, those things aren't optional. If I didn't do my homework, I would fail my classes, and never go to college, and thus get disowned!
