I was thinking that too?

I'm a little confused what you mean by that MC. Maybe rephrase?

I have heard many Muslim's tell me that there is a difference between a Muslim and the extremist Muslim's who are considered terrorists. So in order to protect that philosophy, and to !@#$%^&*ure world peace, shouldn't the Muslim community be stepping up right now and aiding USA in the fight against terrorism? I don't know if that is happening world wide or not? I believe that if something terrible happened in the USA, many non-Muslim (Jewish, Christian, Buddhist, Aethiest, etc.) would quickly draw the conclusion that all Muslims are terrorist, although I'm sure that it is not even close to the truth of that religion. The painstaking truth of the matter is that I believe many vengeful Americans would seek total retaliation -- such as waiting for the Ramadan and the passage to Mecca then inflicting casualties by the hundreds of thousands. That is a prospect to world destruction which is why we need to stop the possiblity of terrorism now - because in the end, no one can win. Comments?

I agree - I do think that we would destroy Iraq, Afghanistan, and probably bully every nation to hunt down every terrorist until they realize what they have accomplished -- nothing.

Was the beheading staged by the CIA?

For the sake of nations in the Mid East, I suppose. If Saddam had nuclear capability, he could have used them against the surrounding nations -- not the USA because he wouldn't have had the chance to build ICBM technology. -
So today I read this: Insurgents in Najaf attacked U.S. forces and a U.S. military base today, a day after the coalition agreed to halt its offensive operations in the Shiite city to see whether radical Shiite cleric Muqtada al-Sadr carries through with his pledge to withdraw most of his militia from the region. Meanwhile, two Japanese journalists are feared dead after an attack by gunmen. Now, if I'm not mistaken, both sides agreed to pull out of the area so peace can be made. The USA was withdrawing, but still...the insurgents decided that they would attack despite their leaders vow for peace. (They hold up posters of their leader while urging for an attack). If you aim for peace, and you comply with peace, and you withdraw and allow the area to become peaceful, what should be done if you get attacked? Most forces would retaliate and obliterate the area, but I think the USA will still seek a peaceful resolve to settle the area. There you bunch of anti-USA, war-mongering pigs, you call the USA the devil yet you attack them when their guard is down. That is destiny for destruction of a civilization.

No need to fear Kryn. You see, fear is what they want but this is nothing new to the USA. In the 60's we 'feared' a Cuban nuclear armed missle. In the 70's we 'feared' atomic meltdowns, in the 80's the threat of Russia vs USA. Nothing new. Don't leave, don't fear. Stand in unity and find your friends abroad. -
Well, this was a nice conversation but we got way off topic. As for nin, I think you have a split anger. You hate the USA because your currency is depreciating through "the corruption of the administration that lost in the 16 May elections plus some global factors". I'm !@#$%^&*uming that the corruption of your government is USA's fault. You hate USA's "neocolonialism" as you say, but demand that USA brings its education to you. Summarizing that: it appears that you want to learn how USA conducts its medicine, business, and ethics thus tossing "neocolonialism" out the window. What is your real argument? Do you want the USA to help your country or leave it alone....or are you cherry picking? (cherry picking is a term used to describe someone who wants only the best cherries from the orchard)

Diplomatic missions open opportunities for trade agreements between countries. Bases are located in strategic locations to support the nations who need them. I didn't say we couldn't use resources from the rest of the world - everyone wins in that case, however, Soldier stated that the US has interest in colonizing some foreign land -- simply absurd. You need to aim your arrows straight before shooting them toward USA for all your problems.
-
Soldier, sweatshops eh? lol w/e - that happens in every country by the people of that country to the poor and helpless. Welcome to life dude. In America you could call your sweatshop what happens to people in elderly homes. Or blue collar workers on 3rd shift at minimum wage. In other countries its people of all ages. WHY? Because those countries don't have a law to protect the children. Stop blaming America you -*BAD WORD*-, and go help whatever country you live in. Finger pointing -*BAD WORD*-ing doesn't resolve it - it simply pisses people off. I'm dismissing your Chavez/CIA link as consiracy theorist crap. Gee I wonder how many times Bush has had !@#$%^&*asination attempts. Is any of this sinking in? I'm telling you, STOP BLAMING THE USA FOR YOUR MISFORTUNE -- get off your -*BAD WORD*- and do something about it.
-
hahahahaha! when dominicans stop trying to get into the USA illegally...I'll worry. You're quite cliche thinking that the USA wants to take over your country. Screw that....we have everything needed right here. neocolonialism....lol.
-
It's quite sad that you feel that way nin ... dubbing all Americans as cheaters. I'll agree that there are some here, and I'm quite sure your country is full of them as well just like every country in the world. Cheaters are not defined by nationality, ethnics, race, religion...it's just who they are.

There are no good zones left. err, Maybe I just need a new game.

Read this article on cnn: http://www.cnn.com/2004/ALLPOLITICS/05/26/...iraq/index.html I wonder how much Kerry's campaign paid Al Gore for that. Nothing but a finger pointing burned out fool. Go away Gore, your day is done.

No worries Bacchus my Dominican pal ur Carribean territory rests under the wings of US protection. Errr SuSE -- that was what we thought during the cold war. No reason to fear it.

Today I read this: The intelligence was described Tuesday by a senior counterterrorism official on condition of anonymity as extremely credible and backed by an unusually high level of corroboration. The intelligence does not include a time, place or method of attack but is among the most disturbing received by the government since the al-Qaida attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, the official said. "There is clearly a steady drumbeat of information that they are going to attack and hit us hard," the official said. Then I read this: FBI Director Robert Mueller and New York Gov. George Pataki said the initiative will enable beat cops to check watch lists of suspected terrorists and other information stored in databases maintained by the FBI, CIA, State Department, Customs and other agencies. I'm concerned about this, but not worried because the news only tells a fraction of the story. Most of the security officials seem to be optimistic that an incident can be averted. Imagine if we had spent all that money in Iraq on defeating terrorism world wide. I'm sure if anything does happen, we will conduct a massive international terrorist hunt leaving no stone unturned. Of course, that would mean first ousting illegal refugees from America, boosting security on all incoming flights/ships, and increased border patrols. You all think America is a mean beast now -- wait until its back is to the wall -- then you will see power.

Are either of you chem majors? No....
-
hahaha! Absolute - singular - one. Personally I cannot see how you can divide yourself among two zones....and I really have none. So - I am Divide by Zero.
-
yo Grav -- takes a big heart and a lot of humility to say those things. May peace and good fortune find your way.
-
ya know nin, I couldn't agree with you more. I believe that much of what you say is true - give people opportunities and SOME will make a million -- others will still complain. (that's just human nature). Opportunity is opposite of slavery. If you are enslaved to a master, then you will have little opportunity. However, if you are simply down on your luck, and unwilling to work your -*BAD WORD*- off to make a bad situation good, you have no one to blame but yourself. This is a lot like people who ask for handouts -- they ask for them because they are normally too lazy to do it themselves. Normally, but not always. Anyway, despite that the USA uses cheap labor abroad, those labor costs in those countries are normally sustaining enough for the people doing the work. The flip side of that is to keep all the work in the USA -- in which many people abroad wouldn't have any opportunity at all.

i think u should deduct 5billion from the guy who came up w this idea
