number one reason why projects fail / die in the business world is lack of solid communication channels. and this day in age its not really what you do, its how you do it that really matters.

I have been following the forums for a while now, and I see some momentum with what Polix is trying to do. Great plans are always seem to be devised in this community, but acting on them always stops because of the God like figure that rules the biller and client. Hope you succeed.

What ever we say, it really doesn't matter, and will not take us anywhere. We are locked into this games politics and such until population hits 0 across every zone, then it can truly die.

worst thing i have ever done is actually though that sscouncil's forums represented the true intentions of the ssc.

Not all SSC really think (someone) should run the forums. So dont bash them for future reference.

Please try to include rather than exclude people, after all a community is what made the game what it once was, and from what I've heard the forum is on the ssc website because of ridiculous reasons. Please people put personal sides apart and think about how many people are being affected because if you dont, you wont have any zones to exercise your power over in the long run, thus making subspace/continuum obsolete. Put your differences/ personal vendettas aside and work together(with the community) towards making the game better and not putting more power in your pocket. Sooner or later you will have no power and nothing to show for. Some of us actually enjoy this game every now and then and wish that you don't ruin it for us and the new players.

Still, why separate the community even more. Community driven game my !@#$%^&*. And at least let us hear from other people on the SSC (other then aceflyer) with valid reasons why to separate the community and limit access. You want people to stay and play, you should take their ideas and let them have player input. Maybe population would rise if people feel they are helping once again. Forget the political reasons, open the forums for people to help. HYPOTHETICAL EXAMPLE: Maybe some 30 year old programmer gets bored at work, plays the game for the first time in a while, then wants to help , only to come here and see stupid !@#$%^&* talk. Then again, it isn't worth his time if he has to deal with some of the people on this forum. So maybe the SSC forum could actually work out as a mature forum. Hmmm.

Haha, because of my comment about the statistics now you must register to even view the forum, if you dont register you only get to see a blank login page. I can't even see the statistics I had seen before. Stop being ASSS, you close the community more with the forum regardless of the forums intention whether good or bad. Open the community up, aren't you all the same people or some who are begging for open source of the game, and yet you hide behind closed doors. The game isn't really community driven anymore, we just play in YOUR zones and on YOUR biller.

Funny to see who has already registered for the forum. In any event, at least give them credit for trying to talk a bit, but should any zone with a population of 10 (3+ bots heh) be given access to all their sysops. Where will the line be drawn? And what has the forum already accomplished so far? 30 topics / 187 replies. I'm not bashing, Id just like to see what has been done, some progress.

What is subspace coming to? It really is quite sad, in general, the conduct of the community for bashing these "13" year old kids for trying to make a difference, really even if they aren't 13, they still are trying to do something for a game they like. I think it's time some of yous grow up and stop trolling these forums, half of you don't leave spec and play anymore, half of you just cause more trouble. What do you think new players see when they come to the forums here? Only to see the constant !@#$%^&* that goes on daily here, no wonder the turnover rates are so high for new players. You all bashed PriitK for lack of updates, I don't blame him, its a waste of time. This is the first time I actually stopped by SSForum, and it reminds me a bit why I stopped. Bash me all you want, in the end its just a game and sooner or later I hope you realize. I had fun when I played, if and when the game dies, at least let it end with some dignity.

I already had received another charger (quicker and cheaper from ebay). So why the !@#$%^&* did they send it to me in the first place when I canceled my order. And the other reason I'm a bit ticked off is because it took about 2 hours just for me to speak to someone to cancel my order (I spoke to about 10 different lvl1 techs and all they just asked for my name and phone number and verified my info, only to forward me to another department, got a bit old), and now I have to deal with their bull!@#$%^&* again, on my own time when it was suppose to be taken care of already.

So, heres the deal. I broke my laptop power charger and tried to order a new one from HP. I was told I would receive it on February 25th. On Feb 25th I found an email stating I would not receive the part till the 7th of March. I couldn't wait that long, need a laptop for school, so I told them to cancel my order and I would just order it on ebay and get it quicker and cheaper. The customer service rep told me I would receive a full refund. Well yesterday in my mail I found a brand new HP adapter, and my refund wasn't issued. Any things you would recommend? Edit: Oh yea, on top of that they sent it to the wrong address to begin with. Heh... Level 3 Support Now...

VMWARE is amazing. Its perfect for simulating stuff in the classroom as well. I can think of many times when we used it. Great tool.

I still would love to see an online store where you can pimp your ship out. Followed by a place to upload your own screenshots that youd like to brag about.

Run winning is lame. Good job staff at keeping it the way it is, harder for people who dont deserve the win to win.

burn it as an image using nero, than depending on which make you need to edit your boot up options. set it so that the cd rom is before the hard drive. and i feel the ubuntu community forum would be a better place to ask that question. that community is really helpful.

I dont see why they wouldn't take zone input. After all that is why their are specific forums like the one this was posted in for those reasons.
