If the zone has the basic requirements of a good zone (settings, gameplay, etc), then people will play them. I've been making zones for quite a while now and I already know that settings make up huge percentage of a good zone. Just because one has good graphics/maps, doesn't mean that people will play. If the gameplay/settings are good, people will stay. It really doesn't matter what graphics you have as long as they match whatever the settings are about. An example? The first DS zone. Extremely crappy ship graphics I made using shipmaker (the crappy program). People still played even though the graphics sucked. Why? Settings. I just have an idea at the moment. If I could copy a bigger zone's settings and add graphics + sounds + a new gameplay, then people would play. But then again, that's just my philosophy.
