Seriously, some of the silly abbreviations need to come to an end. Half of these are either 1) re!@#$%^&*ed 2) so uncommon, someone must have just made it up. I'm searching for a pc-based answering machine for my phone... Did anyone ever get to use one? By the way, Skype is one-way only here still, so that's not an option. People wouldn't be able to call me. However... There was that program that said you could get a free voicemail number, but according to the reviews it was a virus, so... But if such a program really exists, combined with Skype it would be a nice alternative. So, despite the fact that it is true there is now a Continuum-wine. I think it would still be much better should there be a true linux-port (similar to Snrrrub), and one that perhaps be managed on an easy to use system, auto-configured. (Possibly !@#$%^&*imilated into Gentoo Portage, or Ubuntu Apt-Get). Along the way of course, a couple of hurdles that might possibly be overcome is the creation of a true subchat, to rid ourselves of the need for X interface. (Clearly, if people had an xterm in their Windows this would be suitable as well). So I am planning my departure. It has been a great 10+yrs, 8yrs spent working in the web community, but my time is done. I have put a lot of thought into it over these past few weeks, and really, it is over. I will post more in depth later. SSCentral is 90% done, just needs some images for the front page, and the news template to be made. I can provide all psds, and anything needed to finish it. SSForum runs itself, and is 100% ready. Link I've been wondering about this for a few years, because I couldn't think of a reason to use DU in Afghanistan, but it seemed logical enough that if there was an opportunity, we'd take it. This one gfoes out as a general devolpment suggestion rather then to a specific project so this forum seemed most appropriate. Seeing as people dont always read this forum perhaps it would be a nice addition to have a weekly news bullitin sent out over the whole game. Like with current zone news, when the game is loaded the player will have an option to read the news file. It could contain news that affects the whole game, and plug large events / zone opening / whatever to keep the whole community up to date.

Whenever I try to enter a zone, It tells me the password to my Username is wrong or it is being used.... but it most definetly isnt being used...and i've entered the password and everything..... its sooooo confuddling!

I am trying to get the formula from an exponential fit im my chart into a cell to use for a set of calculations i require. I dont want to type it in because im trying to make an automated sheet for producing some calibration curves. My formula from the test data set is this: y = 33768*Exp(-3.7892*x) I can get the first (33768) part with this formula =EXP(INDEX(LINEST(LN(y),x),1,2)) Y=Range of y valye X=range of X values The suggested formula for my second number (-3.7892) is this =INDEX(LINEST(LN(y),x),1) but this does not give me the correct number. (i get -875.51) Anyone know the correct formula to use? Thanks in advance
