http://www.freegamesblog.org/advertise/ Would not be too hard to start a uhh donation thing or w/e. Something where people could all give money to to do this kindof thing. I realized this is a very popular site and the adverts arent Too expensive, but with alittle work, this might pay off. I know something like this pay could be easy for a community like this, i was in a community for a few years 8x smaller than this with a goal for 1000 dollars to retrieve old stored game projects in germany (or sweeden, i forget...) but yeah they got that money within 3 months of donations.

I want to know why the hell you would limit a sig to FIVE lines?! AND EVEN WHEN I PUT 5 LINES, IT STILL REJECTS IT! And by the way, limiting it and allowing people to keep 15+ line sigs doesnt make much sense... I'm trying to condense my sig and you aren't allowing me to by setting that limit so low... especially since the text is so small anyways. ALSO: it SHOULD NOT include BBCode when factoring that limit. The BBCode for that single image i have down there, takes up 2 lines... which isn't fair.

I would like a bbcode tag that when typed, it will turn it into an image of the same text. EG: when i type my email in this tag: [emailicon]rootbear75ATgmailDOTcom[/emailicon] it will create something like: http://services.nexodyne.com/email/customicon/LEDbrt10Ji35scNPA2RSgQ9W3nA%3D/ersfVvg%3D/000000/ffffff/000000/0/image.png Using @ and . in their respective places. EDIT: and thats when i find the email tag..... i feel like an idiot....never mind EDIT2: No wait, thats not right, cause it still makes text that bots can harvest... idea still stands... found a good service that if you know how to code it right: http://services.nexodyne.com/email/index.php

Just thought i would throw my 2 cents in before anyone else. I have also added a poll for feedback to aid the staff. Map/Sets: I always thought the map was too big. The sets and the map dont fit well imo. The Map is too open. Granted open space is needed to capture CPs. The Map is an Infantry style layout with Tight Quarter Basing sets. It just does not mix. Its an MG Map with 17th Settings. Either the map needs to be more base like or the sets need to be more of an Infantry Feel. If this zone wants to be successful, it needs to stay away from the familar concept of 17ths Shipset. Otherwise, it will be changing its sets over and over like 17th has done in the past. …

I'm gonna attempt to set up cross-zone event days (possibly entire weekends, depending on zone interest). Currently I'm putting together a mailing list of head sysops (or active delegates) for the different zones. This mailing list is not in any way related to the Subspace Council, it's merely a way for zones to communicate their league and event information to me, so we can set this whole thing up. If you think your zone might be interested talk to your staff and let them know. Basically what I'm looking to set up is a Saturday or Sunday (or possibly both) event day, where every SSC zone gets 45 mins to an hour to host their #1 event (make sure it can be played with …

Hi all, I have my own personal website that I am creating to advertise myself to the general public. It's basically a project I am doing for my summer co-op/ internship term (as a report back to my University Co-op Office) Anyway, the problem is making my blog look better and more organized. I have integrated www.blogger.com into my website. http://blog.magsila.com/index.php 1. Can anyone tell me how to make the content of the middle portion of the blog look better? I would prefer having that dark blue bar be part of the header of each blog post as a way of separating one post from one another, and preferably having each post boxed in by lines. 2. How do I ma…

Hi, in a very boring slow days in class, I rediscovered this game and started playing again. The memories came back and now I'm hooked. Anyways, Game still alive? How's the zones? (DSD rox, TW sux ) Have we managed to promote this game in any meaningful way, so it's not just something for diehards of a 10+ game? Prittk still an inaccessible douche who won't release the source? Barring all that, there are projects for a new SS? I've glanced over and saw SS2 and Thirdspace (lol, Thirdspace was around when I left, glad to see it still "around", though verrrrry slowly ) Anyways, good to be home.
