Hi, How did you find continuum? Was it through an advertisement on TV, through the web, or was it from a friend? Most people will say that they found Continuum because a friend recommended it to them. We have an opportunity to continue to do this, and one way of doing this is simple: By posting on your Myspace, Facebooks, Blogs, Xanga's, etc about Continuum. It can be a simple advertisement, just saying "Hey I play Continuum, its an awesome 2d Space shooter game, someone wanna play me at it? You can download it at getcontinuum.com, then post about it on SSForum.net when you've tried it out". Lemme know how this works out for you! Confess

He got pretty messed up for getting hit once. Broken nose and two teeth. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/8411198.stm I'm quite surprised his approval rating is as high as it is (over 50%). He's definitely makes deals with the mob (paying them off to clean up garbage link ), passed a law to give the prime minister immunity from trails because of his tax fraud case (which the supreme court had to overrule), there were the tabloid pictures of the sex party he had a year ago or so, he bought an expensive diamond necklace for a 18 year old on her birthday (he's 73, check out http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/worldnews/article-1176839/Berlusconi-demands-apology-wife-admits-Ou…

Note: I did not originally claim that torture is useless; only that it is an abhorrent violation of human rights. However, this is where the discussion has gone: That is a matter of opinion. Personally I feel that there are times and places where torture can be useful. We can elaborate later in another topic if you want me to get into those details. Same thing with indefinite detention. Leaving aside my ethical objections to torture for a moment, I challenge the idea that torture can be "useful" on three grounds: Strategic grounds: The decision to use torture affects the policies of ourselves, our allies, and our enemies, and certainly not in ways that further ou…

I need some of you who have Steam installed to do me a favor. I am going to need four versions of your shortcuts.vdf file (located in \Steam\config\). First version: 1. Make sure you have no third-party application shortcuts in your Steam Games list 2. Shutdown Steam 3. Make a copy of your shortcuts.vdf and rename the copy to firstversion.vdf 4. Start Steam back up Second version: 1. Add a shortcut to your Continuum.exe to your Steam Games list 2. Shutdown Steam 3. Make a copy of your shortcuts.vdf and rename the copy to secondversion.vdf 4. I don't follow US politics much, but did he really accomplish anything nobel prize-worthy yet? Shouldn't they at least wait until the end of his term or something? Either they were simply out of candidates this year, or they needed to put the Nobel prize organization back on the news. I mean... I have no idea who won the last nobel prizes, and I hadn't heard about them for a while. (Yeah it's not a very original topic as it's on every other forum and blog, but whatever, I'm curious to see what you guys think about it)

^^^ EDIT: Whew! 97 characters works (making the maximum at least 127 or 128). Pros of filtering common files across three versions of Sniper: * Most optimal and minimal disk space use * Shared "dependencies" means less overall download time * Relatively easy to maintain Cons (from a developers point of view): * Lots of LVZ files * If you are naming your LVZ files as #.lvz (where # is from 0 to infinity), can be difficult to keep track of if you aren't smart in organizing your development environment correctly in the first place but eliminates potential character limit problems * If you are naming your LVZ files as something readable (ie. sniper40gfx.lvz), you are un…

I started this last year, though I use to be involved in this yearly on another forum I visited which has since essentially died (admin fights are fun). It is just kind of spotlighting a charity or somewhere you can donate this holiday season, somewhere many people may never think of. Last year I recommended Lets Bring Em Home, a charity that sent 72 Soldiers home for the holidays. So far this year they have set a new record, and are only 10k short of sending all their requests home (142 tickets bought so far - http://www.lbeh.org/?status). I know a lot of us are strapped, but a lot more of us are doing pretty well off when you look at it. I myself adopted a little gi…

Hello subspace friends, I have another idea if anyone is bored... You probably all remember SSRPG and how big of a success it was (for the time that aileron was activly supporting it) well, could we do another rpg except on Facebook?.. I know people are trying to do facebook adds for subspace.. but a subspace application RPG game on facebook WITH adds on it would be way more effective and fun ( AND bring the facebook - subspace community together on another medium) ideas? facebook games are quite popular and can be graphicly and mentaly stimulating (and can brainwash people to play the real subspace by making them addicted to the RPG)

Unbanning Everyone 1 2 3
by Confess- 54 replies

Subspace Continuum is slowly dieing. Some say, its already dead. We need everyone to play to keep it alive. Currently, a lot of people are banned - Both Netbanned, and locally banned in zones. Most of these people have served their bans with patience, and are just waiting to be unbanned. Some people are caught up in other peoples banned, even though it is their first time playing their game. History has shown that when someone that has never played a game before cannot enter a game, they simply leave and delete the game. My proposal, give everyone a second chance. I suggest that we lift all bans, locally and biller wide. In my experience, when you remove all bans - it…

This is most certainly SPAM. I signed up for online backup yesterday at Carbonite because of a deal available right now: 3 years unlimited storage for $37.23 after cashback ($64.97 up front). Regular price is $129.95. Shorter subscriptions are also available at good prices, but the best value is on three years. Use code CUST50 for 50% off, and sign up at Mr. Rebates and click through to Carbonite for $5 signup rebate + 35% cashback in 90 days. This sort of backup scheme installs a client onto your computer and backs up files your documents in addition to any other files you specify less than 4 GB in size. The first backup takes a long time, but all backups afterward a…
