I have completed many updates around the site over the past week, but some of the more apparent updates are as follows: - Fixed link errors/bad links - Changed site layout and index download banner - Updated menus: Left menu is geared at new players/information and right menu at current players and website info. - Moved Network Status zone info into a database. This makes adding/removing/updating zones simple. - Rewrote the entire backend for Network Status. - Began working on minor script to allow zones to grab their population using our scripting. Lots of other things I can't quiet remember. Little tweaks here and there. But more updates/content should be coming as …

KevinJRussell Hi guys. As those of you who actually know me noticed, I don't really get on Continuum anymore. But I play a lot of Steam games now. Day Of Defeat Source, L4D2, Alien Swarm, and Pirates, Knights, and Vikings 2. I'll probably play NS2 when it comes out. And I play a ton of StarCraft 2. I'm picking up League Of Legends as well. Anyway, all the cool people are gonna add me, so you might as well go ahead and do it now.

So I noticed SSCU Trench Wars was at a whooping 90 players, so I entered the zone, because at 7am there isn't anything going on anywhere.. I went to every arena in Trench, and only found a total of 15 player playing!! You may ask yourself, "ya, and whats your point?". And to be honest, I don't know! Just thought it was crazy. So, I did the same thing with SSCU Extreme Games, they were at a total of 65 players. Only 9 playing. SSCU Death Star Battle at 30, with 5 playing. SSCX Chaos/League Zone SVS at 35, 1 playing SSCX PowerBall at 20, 0 playing

I haven't been around for a long, long, long time. Last week I started programing a SubSpace client for the OSX platform for fun, and started looking around and found you guys. This is pretty amazing that the community still exists. I do have a quick question, is the PriitK/Etked Continuum the same as (someone said ' our ASSS server') any other network? I guess what im asking, is are there other networks out there other than the Continuum ones? -s_d (silentdragon)

To whoever maintains it, can you remove all references to subspacedownloads.com? Under the Do You Have What It Takes? for example, you should be using getcontinuum's primary download link, not a mirror. Same thing under the Screenshots section. Anything that's not hosted locally on the website should be labelled a mirror and removed it if doesn't actually work. There's also quite a few dead links in the Related Sites and Leagues link section.

One of our Dev's had some questions about the way teams are controlled: ---- I have some questions about the freq manager module. The freq captain is supposed to be the player with the most exp. -How to read a player's exp? -What if 2 players have similar exp, and they keep alternating which has more as the game goes on? Should exp be checked only when a player changes freq? Kicked players are placed on their own freq? They can request to return to their original freq? Can a player try changing to multiple freqs (=N1, then =N2, etc)? Or do they have to wait for each request to be answered before trying to change to another freq? Do players need to be notified …

In sum, changes to TWEL, another $MONEY$ event on SUNDAY 10/24/10, and Weekend Events. TWEL, by EvilDeed: TWEL (?go duel) is making some pretty big changes. We are adding 2v2 and LANC to TWEL. We gotta have a scheduled time for people to check if anyone is in pub just to mess around. It doesn't always have to be a league game. Anywhere between 4-10PM eastern standard works for me. Let's narrow it down to a good hour to be checking for players.

Hey I was just wondering how fast everyone here can actually type There are 2 kinds of typing tests btw, there are some that use the 5 character = 1 word method, and others that use random words. Also some tests are loaded with texts that contain quotation marks, capital letters, and all that crap, while others have almost none, so you might wanna take a few tests (or do the ones I did).
