I was thinking that SSC Servers should have a new command; ?squadownlist - Shows every squad you own on that account. SS Servers already own it, it would be really pathetic if they would be ahead of us in the technical progress, wouldn't it?

A few ideas of mine: *shutup # I hate it when silencing people they just relogin. The same could go with *spec but it would be more appropriate with *shutup. Idea's that won't happen: Notepad, in SS! Yes, being able to edit logs and send them thru SS (yeah right) P2P Banner sending: Yes, won't happen either. And another thing: FOR THE LOVE OF GOD FIX ROBO REF IN TRENCH WARS SO IT DOESNT PICK RANDOM THINGS LIKE CLOAKER RACE (which doesn't work) And stop Robo Ref from stealing <ER>'s ads! err help, i got a ctf bot and it has a shipcheck plugin aswel, and during a ctf game the bot jus enteres as a ship and then the ctf won work, why does it keep entering as a ship?

For some reason i can not make a second public in my zone. servr.ini is set to [Arena] ArenaMaxPlayers=25 ArenaDesiredPlayers=25 ArenaMinimumPlayers=0 SpawnKeepScores=1 MaxArenas=2000 MaxArenasMemory=64000 and then id ont think its the cfg but the max amount of people is set to 25

After reading the dialog between Mr. Ekted and Coconut emulator, I have drawn the following conclusions on how we might extend the Continuum client code. I am not a coder however, so please point out any silly flaws in my theory. The only way we can keep the game "secure" is for the client to be programmed closed source. However, extending the code is a breathtakingly slow process which is completely reliant on one Priit Kasesalu as we want to minimize the number of people with the full source. However, would it not be possible to use third party client code in the form of a plugin system if we can validate it serverside? I know it'd be extremely difficult to actual…

is pointless. There are only a handful of real developers who play SS, and most of them do not browse this forum. Since we have no apparent moderation, the threads are either feature requests that fall under - already thought of and discussed by the appropriate people (grel/priitk/ek) - masturbatory fantasy for feature-seekers or amateur programmers or stupid questions that - should be addressed in an FAQ - are asked by people so obviously uninformed as to be a waste of time to answer so ends my brief stint on this board, I urge all of you to find something better to do. -numpf

Shankys server doesn't help on this one. I'm using SSME and used the flag tile. But when I go into my map the flags aren't where I put them and they appear randomly near the center. BTW my map is Tactical Warfare check it out it'll be done soon.

I think adding ability to edit the bomb levels and make them all different or independent, could be a nice feature in the next release(s) of continuum. When I say this I mean that at the moment, you set a Bomb Default that's used by L1, and L2 and L3 have the same base but higher.. If you allowed editing each of them it could help a ton, such as in war games where you'd like one bomb to be a slow missle, and the next a fast one. Or precision on bomb levels (L1 does 100 damage, L2 does 30, L3 does 600), or even on bomb thrust. I'd like to see this in the future:)

Metal Gear is currently testing out the different options for multiple arenas and we have ran into some problems. Well, only one but it's big. You see if we set arena max to 40 and we have 45 people, then 5 people are forced to be tortured by a boring 3v2 flag game. I'm wondering if there is a way to like...let the arena go to maybe 50 people, then when 1 more comes in a new arena is opened and a bot ads for new arena? Im open to suggestion so feel free to post.

where are all the real program stuff? when i open the subspace folder theres just a bunch of dlls and an exe which only contains the menus sounds and some license stuff. i dont know about programming too much but theres oughta be a place where the main body is written cuz [scratches head ] it duznt make sense when a game is run off just menus and pictures...

Yup, you heard right, this new build of SubChat is now ready for distribution. Just one hang up, ive got no place to upload em for people to download anymore since this forum system doesnt support uploads obviously ^^. hi is there a way to change the default colours in the chat window? because i am partly colour blind and its hard to see the difference between the team chat colouts and whipsers. heh if not maybe you should code it in so you can? Maybe alot of other people like me have the same problem.

yes im looking for a bot maker that can make a bot do: 1.keeps goal score on the scoreboard 2.keeps track of the timed game 3.play bongs #110, 111, 115, 116, 120, 121, 122, 123, , 81, 82, 83, and 91 when a person makes a goal 4.this one if its too hard you dont need too but would be realy apreacated is that after the opposite team shoot and make it 2 random players that are on the same team are warped to the other teams goal and one of them with the ball. 5 when 2 minutes remain on the time clock it could play bong #90 it would be greatly apreaceated if some on could do this and would help me out a whole lot.

Yes, thats right, MervBot.com should be up and running shortly. It will have a new design and back-bone coming along with it. Why would i put money into something so "uneeded". -*BAD WORD*- knows i get enough people asking me for theirname.sscentral.com for merv dev or plugins, or something to do with, as i like to call it, catware. So now rather then having 200 subdomains at sscentral just for them, they can easily be put at, for ex: explody.mervbot.com. I think this should help out alot of developers who want to get their work out there.
