Would be cool if news.txt would show a specifique page on the internet, you can either specify a location on the net or can create an html file. It will be way much more easy because there will be colours, links and stuff like that. Just an idea, I imagine something like this would be very easy and possible to do.

After the recent blackout, it has become clear that we need to modernize our power system. One thing we will have to do is build more plants. I have purposely left out alternative sources of energy such as wind and solar. They seem to be only applicable in certain locations and certain amounts. It is obviously preferrable to apply these wherever they can be applied, but we can't build an entire system on these.

hey, can some1 esit rankbot for me, so that the warning of what ships u can/cnt use doesnt come up wen u enter zone, cuz i like the ranking feature but not teh warning, plus i cnt de-activate warning command cuz i liek it to be available:P

Maybe PriitK could add a minor drag&drop system... In windowed mode you could drop a file onto the client and it would simply spit *putfile [dropped file] to the chat window and initiate the transfer. This would also require the ability to use directories beyond the current working dir.. ie: C:somethingsomethingsome.lvz. Thanks, Craig

First off, don't flame/spam me for being new here and immediatly requesting this. I'm sorry, but I just had to get it out of me. That being said, guess what THIS thread is about? :roll: I've been searching through these forums, and I found that everybody is very protective of the NETWORKING of Continuum/SubSpace. So, I figured that nobody will be handing over the source to a stranger (heh, go figure). I believe thats a great idea, but over rated if nobody is constantly updating the game with new features that players request. Anyways, since nobody will hand over the networking (due to cheaters, hackers, etc), why not just a stripped version? A stripped version with …

Removing Spec Co-ordinates

I've just about had enough of people who spec hunt and cheat, I just ask that in the next version of Continuum they remove the co-ordinates when someone goes into spec mode. Not too much to ask? It won't stop the cheating of course but it should make it harder without the co-ordinates.

Wow i finnally just got on,for a all day blackout,maybe the power might go off again,but i heard from everyone that a lighting bolt hit a Niagra Fall's Power plant,which shut off power From New york,Ohio,surrounding areas,quebec and ontario. until recently, ss was more restrictive in how we can edit the settings for a zone/arena, whatever. Lvz files are a relatively new thing for example. I don't really care for cosmetics much though, and would *love* it if you could change OTHER stuff in ss. Does anybody know if or when the next ss update will offer more flexibility to the rules of ss? This probably won't happen, but just for an example say: being able to change the number of bomb/bullet upgrades, bombs can have a multifire too, bullets with prox. maybe even more ships available. or even more abstract changes, though probably quite impossible, such as: Recharging items (it would be kinda cool if your…
