I just found this rather worring article over the FAT file system: http://news.com.com/Microsoft+file+patent+...ml?tag=nefd.top Surley if they win either linux will instantly perrish or die slowly due to it becoming incompatable with windows and unix! the m$ will have an even bigger monopoly by iliminating the only OS able to beat them.

I've noticed lately that everyone enjoys posting/advertising their zone in the Zone Development Forum. It is still on topic, but I think it would make more sense to have a Subforum in Zone Development called "Zone Advertisements". Players create a topic like "SSPP Lone Star" for example, and say check out my zone, it is a CTF with super ships and some custom graphics, heres a screenshot of the zone, every sunday is 2X regular points, so stop by sometime! This way we can keep the main forum in Zone Development to have less advertisements and more questions on making zones, graphic help, etc.

As has been reported in the New York Times among other sources following the Ashcroft testimony, a series of legal memoranda was drafted for the White House advising that the President in specifics and the Exectutive Branch (which includes the Military) in general. These advise that the Commander in Chief would be exempt from charges of torturing prisoners of war [a war crime] due to his having the authorization to protect the country by any means necessary. This has a few serious flaws, the first of which being the absolute destruction of the Geneva Convention, which is pretty much the only thing that keeps out captive soldiers from having Hanoi Hilton's pulled on them…

Okay, i know some people (you all know who im talking about) are going to try to flame me, but still, this is a good idea. If we were to have a subarena request section people could state what kinda of zones/subarena's they want. This way, it isnt just us trying to guess what they want. When someone claims to start making the subarena, the topic will be closed, that is if he/she can give proof. I am willing to help out on the forum as much as possible if needed. Thanks, please consider this.

Well I know this might be a common situation but I really dont know the solution. I use to have a dial up modem but it was able to let me enter my zone when I ran the subgame and the subbill. Well now that I have dsl it dosent work the same. I dont understand why but thats the way it is. Tile Layering

I think it would be nice if tiles could be layerd to make things look better. If your using a line tile, 1px thick that is used in open space, you try to use it on a safe and you get black surrounding it, it would be cool if you could lay the tile over a safe tile so this soent happen and its still a safe. I know you will say "use LVZ" byt for somthing this small is it neccacary to make many LVZ?

finially merc samurai is the pub in merc ground warfare been a while since ive seen alot of players in samurai and i would like to see more. this zone in my oppionion and some others has the best gfx in continuum. u fight with swords/blades there is a samurai ship set. we really need to get the population up on this zone so we can have some killer fun. there are also chinese stars u can throw and different ways to fight. its extremly fun and lets all try to bring it back up.
