Hey all, I lost my last post so here goes again! I a KomodoDragon in the continuum world, and am trying to create my own zone. However, I only have so much time during the day that I can keep it up from my computer at home. I have created an arena based on the Computer Game "Siege of Avalon" I enjoyed it so much that when I thought of a zone it came to mind very quickly... Anyway, It will be up most of the time throughout the Day Newfoundland time, but I would really like to get it up on a server so it could be used 24/7. I would really like some help here. Last year i owned a zone called SSZ Paintball CTF, which averaged around 20 population. I eventually closed the zone because it was suffering due to some settings. Now, i have remade it in SSU TJ Development (still up so u can see it) zone with all new tiles graphics, and made better setts. This time its gonna be called Paintball Reloaded, but i would really like for it to be on a server with ssc billing. Help anyone?

I've noticed quite a bit of activity in regards to creating a newer, more stable client for our game. I think its time that we get started on such a concept. This new client will probably take advantage of the Bold3D engine and Direct X 9.0. Just imagine, playing your favorite top-down game, but with the added 3rd dimension -- yeah, pan down a little bit to see around the corner, or get a good look at that sexy new banner on your ship's wingtip. I've been playing under my new name which is Civic1989 on another computer in my house for at least a month now and I am banned on my other computer which has just came back from being repaired. I dont know why I am banned from this computer. I didnt do anything wrong nor was I warned before hand. The ban is #1436 and is until 4-21-2006. Please help. Thank you.

If a staff member of a zone gets insulted on a cross-zone chat... is that enough to warrant a netban? Perhaps a better approach would be a lengthy local ban followed by an entry into the staff member's ignore.txt file. Anyone have an opinion on this?

I was considering starting up a ASSS server on a linux box I have that's on a dedicated connection. However I haven't seen a linux version of the biller yet. I would like to run my zone on it's own biller if possible. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I don't know about the other builds, but on build 45, for me anways, when i use tell(makeChangeArena(name)); it never seems to update the actual arena name in botInfo. even after moving from a public arena to a private arena, it continues to output the public arena as it's current arena name.

I have not seen MillenniumMan post any news regarding Continuum Next Level in a quite a while so I assume he is no longer working on the project. I believe that either Continuum Next Level will be finished and replace Continuum or the future of Continuum is death. As computer technology continues to grow, continuum will become more backwards. Eventually, even the fact that Continuum is free will not be enough to get new players. The current players will slowly stop playing and then Continuum will be a thing of the past. There are three Gods (aka Sysops) in Zelda: Farore (Head of Development and Owner), Din (Staff Coordinator) and Nayru (Bot Programmer). Zelda:MotW is in great need for a Nayru to make plugins for us. The types of plugins we need are: Event Inventory Quests The Dev team is constantly coming up with event ideas, but we need a bot coder to make some of the stuff happen.
