i was learning programming a plugin for MERVbot and i found out how to let a bot say somthing back (ezz) but now i wanted to make a buyplugin with numerical parameters. scrypt: if (c->check("test")) { // reads in test #, default to 1 if invalid number input int temp = 1; if (isNumeric(c->final)) temp = atoi(c->final); but i dont get how i can let a bot say something back this way.... Okay, I made a change on my map by adding some .lvz and it didn't show it. The layer is correct, the placement is correct, the map is correct, the server.cfg is correct, optional gfx are on, etc, etc, etc. I even *getfiled the map from the server, looked at it in !@#$%^&*, and it was fine. For some reason, it's just not showing up in the zone. Thanks for your help LearJett+

Im currently in need of someone who can code MERVbot plugins. Im creating a Final Fantasy zone with one of my friends and We need someone to make a bot that would have a leveling system, a store, and im sure various other small things. If anyone could help us with this we'd greatly appreciate any help offered. If you would like, i can put the zone up for you to look at. Im usually in Devastation. If not just pm me here or ?message me in devastation i should be able to open it whenver you need it opened. So...yeah Any help would be greatly appreciated.

So, there I was, sitting in front of my computer with SS open and dreaming about how much fun I was going to have playing DSB for the next few hours tonight. I click "Play" and.... BAM! I get a message telling me that I'm banned from the SSC network for 1 year!! I'm shocked.... and annoyed. But I calm down and I start to write down the email address and Ban ID# so I could get this resolved as quickly as possible. I finally send off the email to the SSC address that was given and then I surf on over to DSB's site to find the addy for their bans as well. I figured the more eye's I have focused on my little problem the better and considering the fact that I only play in DSB …

I was wondering, since the game is being developed in C#, do you think there will be a port? If it were to be done, would it be compiled with Mono(for example), or is C# a completely different animal than I expected?(.NET and C# are hazy shores to me.) If not, will it be limited to Windows only, again? (would be nice to be able to play it no matter which of the mainstream operating systems you use.) EDIT: Nevermind, I just saw a post that I accidentally skipped over while reading the "SubSpace v2" topic that said that it would be using DirectX... blast, multi-platform shot down in burning metal..

I used Facts to make a bmp of a tileset from a map I had. And I edited the bmp in photoshop. I don't know what to save the bmp as, I try saving as indexed and it messes up the tiles(makes small lines at the top.). I just want to know if any of you could help me.

This is all directed mainly to Americans. Are any of your guys one of those anti-war people? Just curious, and wanted to voice my opionion and see what you guys think. I personally can't stand the people that frickin protest that we have our troops in Iraq or Afganistan. What happened to the days when Soldiers were respected as the defenders of our freedom? Roofbot Effect with No Bot : Not a Lame Idea eh? What you do: Create your lower bottom map ( Best to use Isometric ) using Lvz Graphics and Tiles. Im not gonna pretend to know anything about this topic, because i honestly don't. Everything I am saying here is basically coming from person thoughts. Isn't it currently illegal to assist someone in suicide (USA)? What's the purpose behind that? Don't citizens have the right to decide when to end their lives? I would think "life, liberty, and property" would include the right to decide when you want to die... Why can they ask someone to help them end their life?

I've designed a map, and I know my IP address. But whenever I try to load my zone onto the server, it gets deleted! How do I post my zone (then play on it)? The map is pretty simple, a blank one. Just a regular plain blank map. There are no add-ons, nothing. It's the perfect zone to test out new ships.
