This was going to be posted in the 'sscouncil should be voted on', but it turned into a sprawling argument about SS in general, so here goes.. People have been talking about SS dying for years. Baudchaser told me about how terrible the SS community is. Most of the people i've known that have quit have quit because of the lack of new zones, and all of the !@#$%^&* talking that goes on. What other games result in lines of spam, abuse and flaming just over a loss or even one death? A nice little story of my computer f***ing up on me... Last night, before i go to bed, my computer is running fine, everything is happy. Today, i come in, my computer's off, and i start it up only to find that XP for some reason, decided it doesn't want to let me log in... I type my password etc... and it goes "Logging In" i hear the log in sound, and IMMEDIATELY, i see Logging off.... Saving your settings.... and then i hear the log off sound... I try this for ALL USERS (even the Safe Mode Administrator, and it doesnt work.) so i built my new monster pc cause my mobo on my old comp went kaput. i have reinstalled half life 2 and am giving that another go, as well i'm in the process of getting f.e.a.r. it doesn't have to be an FPS, i've also just gotten civilization iv. any other ideas?

ok so, i'm having login problems yet again... both at work and on my home comp (the only 2 places i access the forums from) I cannot seem to stay logged into the forums when i revisit despite the fact that i have remember me option enabled.... now i know for sure its not cookies because my home comp is less then a week old. please help! i'm losing my mindddddd

I dont think you need this !@#$%^&* unless you want to be an accountant.... I'm talking this class in highschool for !@#$%^&*ing nothing.... I keep finger pecking and !@#$%^&*. I do it at 40 wpm. So do I need this class? I know this is very brief but i'm so pist right now I can't think straight. ahh !@#$%^&* I think I posted this in wrong topic. the class pace is too fastr and I don't feel like I'm getting anything useful out of this. I tried logging in today and it appears I've been network banned (#2146) for no reason known to me. I've read the SSC netban guidelines and submitted a ticket, but seeing as how the person answering the ticket may be the same person who banned me, I thought it would be prudent to post something here to see if anyone at all knows why this happened. I'm guessing it was either a mistake or some childish vendetta. I can still get into any zone on my laptop, but it would be nice to be able to get in with the name Wormhole Surfer and on my good computer since I was working on a new zone project. Hackysack admitted to me that he was using an energy and flag hack when I met him in a non SSC zone (CSSS Future Outpost) after I realized he wasn't dieing when he should have been. You all know me, and I've never faslely accused someone of hacking before. I say that because I didn't take a screen shot of it. I have nothing against the guy, I just don't like hackers in this game. Keep an eye on him.

from the previews i thought it would be meh, and after some friends had seen it and told me how good it was, i was still meh. then i saw it last night FANTASTIC. its pretty dark, and i thought it would be a little haughty taughty (did i just make that expression up?) about itself and spend too much talking about life and philosophy and be the usual hollywood crap. i was wrong!! its well paced and some great action scenes! do it

Hey guys, On Friday, a new map will be added to SSCB Devastation to help improve the gameplay and condense the action. The map is now has only 1 goal, instead of 2, 3 bases instead of 4, and the bases are design to be a bit easier for attackers (and then obviously harder for defenders). Why the !@#$%^&* does IPB sometimes replace all ' characters by \' (and mostly all special characters) ... It's annoying as !@#$%^&*.
