All this ss stuff is making me feel nostalgic so i thought I'd make a thread about the ancient gopher protocol. is anyone here even old enough to remember? back when I was like 10 I remember going into one with IE4. that was in 1998 and most of them were already down then. I set up my own server not so long ago to keep the thing alive. but ya know the gophers still around today, got lots of goodies in them from the early days of the interweb

We need something to encourge more clan wars or more clan teamwork. Any ideas? Clan options are pretty limited but I submitted a few ideas for clans to the ppl who made armysystems and they are suspose to release a new version this summer.

Question: How do you select which stats from SS PRG to show on the left of what posts you make? See, currently all my stats show for me, however, most other people's seem only to show the Rank, and Army Size. So how do you change that? Thanks...

I am looking for a host for SFSS StarWars. No DLS or cable servers plz. You can view the zone from 9am to 12am Pls send your e-mails to candygirl@sfss.org As soon as I get the hosting and get things up and running “ I will be looking for a head sysop. I work 12hrs a day and I think it’s only fair to hand the day-to-day job to someone that has the time. The sysop will need to know what there doing (Mature only) the head sysop will do the hiring of needed staff. Don't got the time to keep up with playing the Army system at the moment, maybe next reset once I tweak a lot of things. It seems impossible now to edit the attachments of someone else's post as mod... This is quite annoying, in DCME forums, we want to update attachments of the 'latest release' thread, but I can't do anything... Can that be changed?

I have this leet defense weapon... it costs 2,000,000 to buy... it has 20,000 points It costs 2000 / pts to repair... Suppose it was broken.... 0/20000 ... it would cost me 4,000,000 to repair it... that makes no sense... It's actually better to just keep it till it dies then to repair it Also... items price shouldn't be all the same... at the moment they ALL cost 1$ / 100pts... So this means buying 1000 sucky weapons is the same as buying 1 stronger... same price, same points... Bigger weapons should be a better $/pts ratio... like the default items had.

I was noticing... that the trademarks to subspace have been abandoned. http://www.uspto.gov/ Search for "Subspace" Says that it has been abandoned, and that VIE filed for the abandonment. Thus said, the name continuum is quite useless vs subspace. The only use I see is labeling the client software.
