Hey I just googled alot on ss history and found out priit is one of the main creators of kazaa and skype .. If im just slow and this is a commonly known fact, than why in the world does any1 wonder that priit is gone? i also read, that subspace started as an open beta under the name "Sniper" (1995) originally with 4 ships which later turned into "infantry"/"subspace" . Still my research left some open questions: I. Do these beta-versions (sniper, infantry) still exist somewhere? If so, where? If not, any screenshots/etc ? II. I'm sure a lot of old subspace players probably know of Infantry at the very least. The game had ~3000+ online players during its peak times before pay to play went active around 5 years ago. It's just been announced that the p2p system is being removed and the game is going to return to 100% free again(along with Cosmic Rift and Tanarus). Do the Chaos Big Shots, those in power and their monkeys carry any weight over here? I am being told that they can 'make things bad for me' here... recently I noticed "Search" coming in as "TRP is gay" and then "Sneakerz" joining here. When it says You cannot attack someone with that size of army. What are the limits to attacking? is it anyone 5x bigger than you you cannot attack? or is it solely dependant on attack and defense rating, im confused:D

Here's a few things I'm wondering about regarding the RPG game: 1) When entering the game is it possible to byp!@#$%^&* the Menu Screen and go directly to the Base screen thereby eliminating an extra step? 2) After attacking, is it possible to go return to the Attack Menu instead of having to read the results of the prior attack, again eliminating an extra step and saving time? 3) Can a "Ranking" option be added so that you don't have to pull up the Attack Menu just to see how players are ranked?

XDCC Download Manager ^^ screens are a bit outdated but the overall idea is the same It was an off and on job for a couple of months, i made the search engine first (rips it from xdcc search sites :3 ), then i started working on the actual irc server control, and then the queue manager. It was pretty unstable at first, but i managed to get it quite robust. I revamped the layout too as a listview just sucks, so everything drawn in the queue is manually drawn in code =.= (took me 2-3 days to tweak that)

I just had, admittedly a whacked out idea... if bad and/or crazy kids can gets into high schools, colleges, etc. then why not allow all kids in those age groups the right to protect themselves by allowing them as well to have conceiled weapons permits? Of course under strict guidelines, phychological testing, etc. Then, when some whacked out kids decides to take out 20 or 30 kids, maybe one of them will be able to pop the whacko thereby saving lives that would have been lost. I mean, the crazies get the guns anyway, why shouldn't good kids be allowed to defend themselves? Your thoughts? TRP
