XDOOM Posted December 21, 2005 Report Posted December 21, 2005 I think it is about time we had a main arena event to gather all of the players at one time. HOWEVER, I have no idea when this main arena event should be ... it is especially tough since we are hitting the holidays ... and I am very busy myself. I think the idea of the event to promote major flagging is a 10x jackpot game. Basically, you win 10x the amount of the jackpot (SOS a bot would be good here). However, to win the 10x, you have to meet certain criteria *jackpot of at least 50 million*possible a minumum amount of players (say 15) Now, this event will permit only 1 major jackpot ... after that it is over .... a major jackpot would be any jackpot reaching past 15 million points. Any smaller jackpots won would keep the event running (BOT SOS) Now, 15 million .... 2xreward ... minmum 6 players 25 ... 4x reward ... minmum 8 players 35 ... 6x reward ... minmum 10 players 45 ... 8x reward ... minmum 12 players For every player until the minimum, you lose 1x (ie ... if you have 45 mil, but only 10 players you get a 6x reward instead of a 8x reward). This goes up to a loss of 4x or you've lost all bonus rewards. Credits will also be awarded based on higher jackpot. What do you guys think.SOS would have to develop an addition to the bot to allow this. Give SSCJ Devastation a try ... you'll like it.

Nice jackpot multiplication reward system idea, too, doom. I'd say make it either a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday to make it easy on people's schedules. Take a poll on the day of the week or something to see which day everyone would prefer. This way multiple flag games can be played .... (SOS this does something past my original idea where the game ends when the mega jackpot is reached, have an option with the bot to have the game automatically stop if a jackpot is won over 50 mil ... or have the game play until a certain time) -xdoom Give SSCJ Devastation a try ... you'll like it.

SOS, I think what XDOOM wants is to have the event so that smaller jp's can keep being won the entire time unless someone wins a 50 mil jp, which would override the timer and end the event. That shouldn't be too hard to program into the bot... This all sounds great to me.
