I do not know if this has to do with the "endless loop" someone was referring to but in my case here is what happens.

 

1) Enter a zone. Play for a little.

2) At Random times, the game enteres the "Entering Arena" Screen which never ends.

3) I quit and the same problem occurs.

Does it happen with other computers with the same internet connection?

 

Sounds like random Black Magic (although I have heard of this problem once before). No definite fix is known to me. Trial and error might be the best option...

 

You can also try turning on Continuum logging.

Turn on scroll lock and caps lock before running Continuum and then post the ssdebug.log file from the Continuum directory.

If it happens with another computer as well... hrm... very odd.

 

Possibly some connection anomaly. The "entering arena" screen might be some automatic reconnect (one that never shows up for anyone else???).

 

Does it happen in all zones?

I've heard about ppl getting the 'entering arena' spontaniously before. It's a wierd bug, I would guess it's due to a router messing up and sending bad packets(?) Edited by Bargeld

Yes, that'd be my guess as well.

 

Seems like it's one of those problems that needs some hands-on investigation and debugging. Unfortunately, we don't really have the means to do that, so... not much help we can offer, I'm afraid.
