Guest Civic1989 Posted December 11, 2005 Report Posted December 11, 2005 I was playing Halo one night at my cousins house and I decided to bring my cpu with me as were going to use it to record some music that night. We were playing Halo when my firewall (Defender Pro) alerted me that my computer had been attacted by the Helkern worm and that the attack was blocked. I did some research as to find out what the worm is and it turns out that it's a worm that attacks servers. While it doesn't really do anything to regular pc's it can probably be spread through them. I was lucky that my firewall picked it up and blocked it. I would like to know why something like this would happen and what is going to be done to fix it. This means DO NOT DOWNLOAD PORN ON YOUR SERVER. hahaha. Just kidding!
