kunfufaresi Posted December 7, 2005 Report Posted December 7, 2005 !@#$%^&*o, After reading these forums and trying every combination including uninstall everything over and over again etc. i found a way to make continnuum work. 1) Create a new user with no admin rights2) select continum.exe and right click to properties3) in compatibility tab set it to run program in windows 2000 compatibility mode4) apply - when you want to play-1) either login with your new non admin user and run continuum or2) as admin right click on continum exe file, select run as.. then choose "The following user" radio box and type the nonadmin username plus its password that you created earlier. when i do this it works on my pc, without any of these steps it goes into continous loop, if i just change compatibility mode then sometimes continuum opens but crash when i try to log into any server. so the steps are create non admin user, and change compatibility mode to 2000 in xp. p.s. if it still doent work there are some dlls that can be missing scan your continum exe with a dependency viewer to see if you have all dlls required for it to work Hope this helps.
RocketGib Posted December 12, 2005 Report Posted December 12, 2005 Also, try installing Continuum with your firewall and virus scanner DISABLED.
