I started playing subspace some days ago and I had the endless loop problem in which the game process opens/closes continuosly without starting effectively.

I have zonealarm+ad-aware and I haven't any trojans/worms.

I found that if I start the game after my computer has been connected to the internet for a long time, it won't start,

but if I reboot and start continuum just when I establish my internet connection, it always works without problems.

hope it helps ,-)

Cool.

By the way, just in case you missed it in the FAQ post, zonealarm and ad-aware might also be the causes of the problem blum.gif

np i read everyting before posting :D but mine was just a possible solution in order to play subspace without uninstalling the firewall/antivirus software.

see you in game

I don't think this problem is Zone Alarm related because it ran fine for a long time with ZA installed. The thing that caused it to stop working was when I reinstalled Windows. After I did that, Continuum wouldn't run anymore. The account I use has full administrator rights. IMO it could be something having to do with SP2, although I'm not going to bother testing it due to the security issues pre-SP2. I had enough fun removing the MSBLAST worm after installing a fresh copy of WinXP. noexpression.gif
