Guest A dead kennedy Posted November 10, 2005 Report Posted November 10, 2005 I have the newest high-speed D-link wireless router (DI-624) and cable internet, with 2 PC's hooked into the router (one via cable, one via wireless). The problem is that I am experiencing GY-NORMOUS (that's my word for both gigantic and enormous; I have the copyright on it, if you help me fix this problem I'll grant you a license to use it ) PACKET LOSS. Can anyone tell me what the deal is? Both PC's get the packet loss, and it doesn't matter which zone I go into (or at least the 3 different ones I tried I had problems with). I used the trace utility and it seems that only one address has near 100% loss.... 68.87.230.254 is that from comcast? I MISS playing the game ever sinced I've moved I haven't been able to play trace.txt
★ SOS Posted November 10, 2005 Report Posted November 10, 2005 Let the trace run for an hour or so and then post the results. This trace was not long enough to be accurate.
