that stuff has to do with things in game. this is not supposed to happen. i was just trying to enter a zone as usual and minimized my game window to chat and it was all weird.

 

the colors.bm2 does things like the radar color and the color of the menu when you hit esc and etc.

If you have a file called chatbg.bm2 in your cont or cont/graphics folders, I load it and tile it into the back of the chat text. If you don't have one and you get somethat like that, it's Windows telling me it loaded an image even though there was none. This is a windows bug. Alt-tabbing into game and back out should clear it.

nope, no chatbg. im in windowed mode so no "tabbing" in and out but a simple restart of cont fixed it. although it was kinda weird it is nothing big

LoadImage() is supposed to return 0 if the image doesn't exist. In some wierd cases it returns the handle to a system bitmap--in your case the check mark image. I"ve seen this before myself once. I don't know if this is a windows bug, or a driver bug.

I've experienced this, Ekted, and i've observed it in different types of videos cards, so i am very confident it's a windows bug, althought i'm not sure either.
