»SOS Posted September 28, 2003 Report Posted September 28, 2003 M... WTF you can't merge with PHPBB?!?! -*BAD WORD*- piece of crap! Anyways, try a lower resolution and refresh rate. Quote
ExplodyThingy Posted September 28, 2003 Report Posted September 28, 2003 I suppose you can merge, but too late now as im not a mod here. Quote
Mr Ekted Posted September 28, 2003 Report Posted September 28, 2003 Monitors will "turn off" if the signal they are receiving from the video card is beyond their operating range. This mean 1) the resolution is too high, 2) the refresh rate is too high, or both. Quote
orb360 Posted September 29, 2003 Report Posted September 29, 2003 MMMMmmmm...... Doughnuts.... What video card and drivers are you using? Did this problem just start, or has it always happened... If it just started, what have you done to your computer lately to have caused it? Quote
Evil Jin Posted September 30, 2003 Report Posted September 30, 2003 re download continuum maybe Quote
Guest ~SphinX~ Posted September 30, 2003 Report Posted September 30, 2003 hmmm....i tryed windowed and my comp went all wierd i coundnt see the pic so i dunno and i tryed re-downloading it Quote
madhaha Posted September 30, 2003 Report Posted September 30, 2003 Its a resolution/refresh (possibly even colour mode) problem as Mr. Ekted stated. I'm guessing you're using an slightly old or budget monitor. It tries to protect itself from settings it doesn't support by turning itself off instead of frying like they used to. Find out what your desktop resolution/colour depth is and try setting continuum to that. Quote
