Guest Posted September 26, 2003 Report Posted September 26, 2003 hi. i've never posted here and i've gone through a lot of trouble before i even considered it but i have found nothing on all the forums i've looked through regarding this kind of problem. When i launch continuum, nothing happens, the little hourgl!@#$%^&* appears beside the pointer and doesnt leave. When i look at the task manager, i see the continuum process running, then half a second later there are 2, then 1 disappears, like it is trying to run itsself over and over again. And this wont stop because there isn't enough time to kill both processes. the only thing i can do to stop it is to use an enhanced task manager to block the process or to log off the computer. I have reinstalled the program, my OS, my drivers, everything. This has happened once before but the update from 0.37 to 0.38 seemed to fix it but it's come back to haunt me. (yes i've tried the pre-release as well) sorry if this has already been discussed but would you please point me in the right direction anyways i would much appreciate it. Thanks.
Guest Posted September 26, 2003 Report Posted September 26, 2003 woops sorry i didnt register and can't edit my post. i've just changed the compatibility of the executable to windows 98/me and also tried windows 95 but instead of looping it gives the error "fatal error 000000d4" and no i can't find the exception log in my continuum folder.
