Drop Down Menu's

Okay I really didin't want to try and make an old topic new again, but I have the same issue with drop down menus... I can't seem to stop getting the client to freeze when viewing menus.

 

First, Yes I did try disabling visual themes and yes I have resorted back to regular windows style not windows style xp. If it was a program that this old topic was talking about

Then I am lost on what to do next???

I am running the client normally and I can get around this by just not messing with menus but I would like to turn 3d sound off and mess with in game visuals...any help would be greatlly appreciated thanks.

- Make sure you have the latest directx drivers, if not, update them.

- You can make use of the hot-keys displayed here:

- Make sure you are trying this out with Continuum 0.38 ; Continuum .39pr1 is known to be unstable and has (other) small bugs.

- Disable any programs that is messing with the style of your windows, like StyleXP.

- [Hunch:] Make sure you have the latest video (card) drivers and installed.

 

For the rest, I don't know. I haven't experienced this problem.

Thanks Mav that does help I can get into my menu's...but the problem still persists...It could be a number of programs that I have I will try to identify it...not to shure on the progress of this one thou.
