AceSpades Posted August 13, 2005 Report Posted August 13, 2005 Ok.So when I double left click Continuum it doesnt open and about 15 mins later its comes up with an error and crashes my PC.I right click continuum > Run as. I get the splash screen open when Im about to enter and download the zone it gets to around 3% of downloading then says Unable to load Metal.lvlI tryed uninstalling and installing it about 5 times. Even renaming the folder etc.I have seen that there is another thread concerning this problem but I couldn't make head or tale of the "HELP ME OMG I CANT LIVE WITHOUT THE GAME WTF IS GOING ON" Help would be greatly appreciated.
»Maverick Posted August 13, 2005 Report Posted August 13, 2005 AceSpades,The problem with this issue is that it is still not certain what is causing this bug / error.However, I can give you some things to try out to get it working once again. First of all, using the 'Run As...' mode is not recommended since Windows XP will disallow Continuum to save files / settings to the hard disk causing all kinds of other errors. To solve the original problem, try disabling the firewall (totally), disabling anti-virus software and any other program that might interfere with Continuum. With some cases, this solved the problem. When all fails, you should try reinstalling the game once again (uninstall it first). Install the game in a complete other folder on your harddisk.

AceSpades Posted August 14, 2005 Author Report Posted August 14, 2005 I have now tryed everything even creating a new user account to play continuum.A fried of mine did suggest trying to get the .lvlz files for SSCC Metal Gear CTF and just copying them into my continuum zones folder.Im trying to do this but it seems impossible to find someone to send me all of these files.
