X`terrania Posted August 6, 2005 Report Posted August 6, 2005 I always thought it'd be cool to be in a Internet Browser such as Internet Explorer or Mozilla's Firefox, then just type ss://17thparallel.sscuservers.net, then the zone will automatically load up and it'll use the default Profile that you have loaded up. Just like mIRC has that cool feature for typing irc://blah then it automatically loads it up in a irc client. Not sure if anyone else has thought of this, just trying to help with the development..
Yupa Posted August 6, 2005 Report Posted August 6, 2005 simple to implement in Firefox, but it's a lot of work (for your average idiot computer user) for a little payoff
»Maverick Posted August 7, 2005 Report Posted August 7, 2005 I'm sure that can be done (maybe some .reg file for internet explorer users), but too much work for just a simple feature (aka another way of opening continuum) that probably won't get used much.
»SOS Posted August 7, 2005 Report Posted August 7, 2005 Mm... why not. I can see a few uses for this. Although there's little hope of Continuum ever supporting this...
