xor eax Posted July 25, 2005 Report Posted July 25, 2005 How can I get a file deleted from the archive? I don't want SubSet 1.1 to be distributed.
»1587200 Posted July 25, 2005 Report Posted July 25, 2005 Contact Testtube, The Bajan, or wait for them to see this topic.
Confess Posted July 25, 2005 Report Posted July 25, 2005 Ha, gl with them deleting anything off of SSDL TT seems to not care if its stolen or not <_<
Bajan Posted July 26, 2005 Report Posted July 26, 2005 delete it?...but why?...thats....ok done. Dont bother TT about any actual content of the site, I am the only person to speak to.
Confess Posted July 27, 2005 Report Posted July 27, 2005 Ah, well how would one contact you? I have a couple of files that belong to me that shouldnt be up there <_<
»Maverick Posted July 27, 2005 Report Posted July 27, 2005 look where you are posting? It's called a forum...
Bajan Posted July 27, 2005 Report Posted July 27, 2005 lol, SSDL is ment to be an archive of subspace files? why are you wanting them removed? that makes no sence. I want a good reason as to why YOU want those files removed Xor, if you care to look at this thread again, I want you to tell me why you wanted SubSet removed.
xor eax Posted July 28, 2005 Author Report Posted July 28, 2005 The problem is that I've been trying to upload the latest version (SubSet 2.1) with no result at all. It is about 2 MB size, I guess it is the reason why it got rejected every time. I didn't want 1.1 to be distributed if I can't distribute 2.1 as well. I've been trying to contact you for the last 2 moths... sending mails to SSDownloads, trying to upload it as a link... and doing all crazy things that crossed my mind in order to upload the thing or contact you. I was desperated when I came to this forum. I thought deletion was OK, I didn't want to fight for each and every version to be uploaded to SSDownloads. It was a surprise to see your quick reaction, specially considering the problems that Confess is having about removing those files. Now I see that I should have asked for some other things instead of deletion, such as uploading big files, application history, etc. But I really didn't thought you could appear and respond so fast as you did. Maybe I'm blind and I'm missing something obvious but my main question is: which is the way to submit files bigger than 1 MB to SSDownloads?
Bajan Posted July 29, 2005 Report Posted July 29, 2005 should have told me it was on MGB forums http://subspacedownloads.com/?act=file&fid=1240
Bajan Posted July 29, 2005 Report Posted July 29, 2005 Confess you can contact me at a forum called ssforum.net Or webmaster@subspacedownloads.com, thebajan@subspacedownloads.com, take your pick
xor eax Posted August 3, 2005 Author Report Posted August 3, 2005 Why should I have told you that it was on MGB? What difference does it make? I still don't know how to submit big files. I'm not happy to see SubSet 2.1 into the archive.
Bajan Posted August 5, 2005 Report Posted August 5, 2005 The problem is that I've been trying to upload the latest version (SubSet 2.1) with no result at all. It is about 2 MB size, I guess it is the reason why it got rejected every time. I didn't want 1.1 to be distributed if I can't distribute 2.1 as well. If you cant upload the files to SSDL, but able to get it on MGB, i could have just downloaded it from there. YOU wanted subset put up, thats why its there.
Testtube Posted September 9, 2005 Report Posted September 9, 2005 Subspacedownloads is a archive of files. When files are submitted They are kept forever When a new version is added the old version is still available for download. Its a ARCHIVE So its not very smart for a archive to delete files.
