The same organisation who has done this has apparently also threatened Denmark and Italy and they've been told to expect a similar event or something. It's reall wrong what's happened and i hope they catch, torture the ASSS who did it..

Alkida took resoniblility for it. This might not have happend if the UK didn't join the US in Iraq but this just proves we have to take out the trash, meaning get rid of alkida once and for all. If their gonna kill people like that, well just have to kill them like that. As they would say, an eye for an eye for 40 years. If more counties went after them they would be able to live 40 more years...

They also belive if they die with pork grease on them, they go to !@#$%^&*, so pour pork grease on them all then shoot ROFL! :D

I have serious doubts that they attacked London for Iraq...half the reason as announced by Bin Laden for the Madrid train bombings was the expulsion of the Muslims from Andalucia. (When Spain kicked the Moors out of their country in 1490) If that's what motivates these people, I doubt any rational line of thought will make them stop.

The worst part of this bombing is that there probably was no goal for this. London will bury their dead and maybe come back on the terrorists harder. The terrorists did this for no reason but only because of their reckless hate and thirst for innocent blood.

The bombings in London infuriate me as much as anyone, but prejudicial statements like this are counter-productive. The way to beat terrorism and extremism is to be better than they are - not as bad as they are. And by better, I don't just mean more powerful. The situation in Afghanistan shows that even when you have financial and military superiority, you can still be kicked in the guts - hard.

In the long term, what we need to do is erode the extremists support base. You mostly do that with carrots, not sticks.

In the short term, it seems that we can only rely on vigillance and targetted 'strikes' (legal or military) against known terrorists and terrorist strongholds.

In the medium term, we need to apply pressure (positive and negative) on foreign governments with extremist populations to help or encourage them to deal witrh extremists.

The Iraq campaign fouled things up - bigtime. It turned the perception of this this from being a war on terror to a war on islam.

Of course the bombings were related to Iraq. So was Madrid. The bombers aren't doing this out of a thirst for innocent blood. They aren't animals and they aren't automatons. They've somehow allowed themselves to be brainwashed into believing that killing random, innocent people can be justified. Now they need to be caught and punished. But if we don't want it to happen again, we need to stop the brainwashing.

Let me guess, you supported the war?

I wonder how many of those terrorists had family members or friends killed by bombs or soldiers from the US and UK. Thats the motive. Its an eye for an eye for them and its the same for Bush and Blair. They'll never learn.

Alkida kind of reminds me of the kid in grade school who acts really !@#$%^&*y, picks on other kids, and thinks he is God but eventually in the future..you know and others know that he will severly get his !@#$%^&* kicked.
