Guest Joshoz Posted June 25, 2005 Report Posted June 25, 2005 Um i made a zone, a simple map and did all the settings. I found my zone on the zones list but the writing it is offline, i think its because my map doesn't have any ship settings. I got the basic ship settings now but I don't know where to put them in for them to apply to my map.

You say you've done all the settings? Where...? Ship settings go in the menu when you press Escape then C, or if you've done them externally, login as a sysop and type ?setsettings C:/[location]/settingsname.cfg or settingsname.set (depending...). As for "the writing it is offline".. if you have your zone on the zone list, it is obviously not offline, do you have both subbill and subgame running?
Joshoz Posted June 25, 2005 Report Posted June 25, 2005 yes they both go on and run fine but my zone is still in red and wont let me connect and i aint a missy..
Paine Posted June 25, 2005 Report Posted June 25, 2005 have you tried the old fashion method of going to the zones list, clicking "remove", clicking "OK", going back to the zone list, finding your zone, clicking "add", and then checking?
Kameloh Posted June 25, 2005 Report Posted June 25, 2005 If you have a router, did you forward an extra +1 port? Ex: if your zone runs at port 1000, did you forward ports 1000-1001 TCP/UDP to your compy? The settings (server.cfg) has to be in the server folder with all the subbill.exe, etc.
Kameloh Posted June 26, 2005 Report Posted June 26, 2005 Well, do you have a router? http://forums.minegoboom.com/viewforum.php?f=2
