Zone registering

I need help with my zone. Yeh see, my zone works and i manually added it to my zone list. I tolled friends to update zones and it wasnt there. i read there is a new thing i need in sever ini instead of the websites i need an ip address.

You do not need an IP address.

 

Make sure the last part of your server.ini (the directory part) has the correct port (4991) and addresses.

 

Also, if that does not fix it, what is the name of your zone?

I checked everything and it wasnt workin so i decided to check here and found that Testtube left and ip address because the old address want workin. Though i found this my pc crashed and i lost the link and need help lookin for the ip. Its somethin like 69.2.....

 

Any help with findin this

Thanks Maverick but when i tried it didnt work. I still cant get my zone using the directory is any one else able to help or is there a new version of server.ini with the zone registring stuff in?

- Make sure your name (or SS.. prefix) isn't already taken by another zone.

- Make sure you have a good description of your zone.

- Make sure you have a normal, good password set for your zone.

- "sscentral.sscuservers.net 69.56.172.170" should be in your server.ini under directory servers

- Give the directory servers some time to accept your zone.

 

Check on stats.17thparallel.com if your zone is already listed on the directory billers (it should be in the 'Others' list)

 

IF it still isn't working, post your server.ini here and I or someone else will look through it and check for errors.

I tried doing all what you said to know suprise it didnt work though im gonna wait till TT finds why the link isnt workin then when it is or a new link is made add that thanks for the help though.
