SHRIKEE Posted May 20, 2005 Report Posted May 20, 2005 When ever i start my MERVbot (readme tells me its build 46) i get on the ss server console window the following message: Disconnect request from billing server ignored over and over again.The bot is NOT connecting to my server, i dont see it appear that is... The server is hosted at my private server (windows 2000 sp4) and the bot is there to in a separate folder in the server folder.127.0.0.1:7100 should be sufficient then. right? I run the server @ port 7100. Ne1 got an idea what this is and how its solved? I just followed the readme.txt steps and have NO plugins YET!

»Maverick Posted May 20, 2005 Report Posted May 20, 2005 oh, oops.. lol I was confused with continuum Set NoTerminal to 0 in mervbot.ini then check to see what the problem is. Make sure that the name the bot is using is at least on vip.txt "Disconnect request from billing server ignored" is not caused by the bot though I believe. You should do a search for it on http://forums.minegoboom.com , the answer is there.

SHRIKEE Posted May 20, 2005 Author Report Posted May 20, 2005 as far as i know imnot using any vip.txt, its not in the server folder either. and yes the server is online as im init now from another computer. i run my own billing thing also on that same computer
»Maverick Posted May 20, 2005 Report Posted May 20, 2005 Create a new file vip.txt in the server directory and place the name of the bot on there. also, *log should show something of an unknown protocol is trying to enter the zone.
SHRIKEE Posted May 20, 2005 Author Report Posted May 20, 2005 i added it to the vip.txt restarted the subgame2.exe and then started mervbot.exe to no success, it wont connect and still shows the subbil error in the server console.

»Maverick Posted May 20, 2005 Report Posted May 20, 2005 DefaultLevelFile=maps/OmegaFore-Ana.lvl might give you problems aswell. Remove the directory and place the map in the same directory as the .exe file
