a problem i cant fix

my continuum just plain flat out does not work it stopped working like a mont ago it doesnt show a ping or how many ppl are on the zone its not a internet problem because i always check my email and do other stuff on the internet and the computer works great because i just got it last december (2004) plz help im going crazy here

Well, if you didn't install any new program when this happened and can surf the web, call your ISP. Maybe they have suddenly decided to block UDP traffic (which is what Continuum uses but not what the web uses).

Make sure windows firewall is either disabled or that continuum is given an exception for the firewall.
